“My dog Amber has stayed with Shirley several times now and I never have any concerns about leaving her. It’s obvious that Shirley really loves dogs and takes excellent care of Amber whilst we are away - the regular updates of what she’s been up to are lovely (and sometimes very funny!) It’s reassuring knowing that we can go away and Amber is in completely safe hands. She always returns home happy, waggy-tailed and well loved. Thanks Shirley x”

“I joined this practice a year or so ago. I feel very lucky to have been taken in when they opened it for NHS patients for a short time. Since I joined I have seen the dentist, Dr Alisa McGregor twice and also the Hygienist Teuta with the dental nurse Shianna. On every occasion I felt not only that I was in safe hands but also that they genuinely wanted to make the whole experience as pleasant as possible, they make you feel very comfortable. Added to this, the lovely ladies, Evgenia and Hannah who greet you and take care of all bookings and admin are fantastic. Every time I go in they are cheerful and enthusiastic and always go out of the way to help. The whole team and practice are top drawer, I am a very happy customer!”

“Rooms are clean, kitchen area and bathrooms both spotless, all looks quite new. The room is basic with a comfortable bed and a wardrobe, it is as described. Easy to find, right on the high street.”

“Heidi is really down to earth and easy to talk to. I felt comfortable sharing my thoughts and feelings with her without feeling judged. I've never had counselling before but would definitely see her again in the future if I need to. I like that her room isn't clinical, it definitely helped me to open up. I have made some changes in my life since seeing her that I feel so happy about and am now looking forward to my future.”

“Tried to use self service dog wash for my boy today who has spinal condition, can be very stubborn and extra large breed. So unfortunately couldn't get him in the bath as he is too heavy to lift. Staff were very helpful and understanding and gave me refund no questions asked. Staff explained fully how to use machine and machine seemed very user friendly just shame couldn't get my boy in it. Definitely recommend for other people to try, that doesn't have x-large breed that requires lifting. Great customer service.”

“Always good value for money! Staples we buy here are rice, toilet rolls, laundry detergent/conditioner, fruit squash, coconut water, coffee mate, water, chicken and bacon sandwich filler, vitamins, sweet treats and pastries.”

“We visited here for Afternoon Tea with Father Christmas. We were a large group of 10 (adults and children). The venue was beautifully decorated for the festive season. Food was delicious and offered alternatives for the vegetarians in our group. Joe Banana was the entertainer for the afternoon and he did not disappoint. The Father Christmas was very good. Plenty of activities for the children to keep them occupied. Would definitely return.”

“Easy to order via screens. Reasonable price and fresh chicken. The order comes with plenty of dips/sauces and they are very generous with it! Cajun spice was a lil too salty for me but I am open try the regular meal next time. Superfast service!”

“With plenty of well maintained space to explore, and an extremely old slow moving river attracting wildlife, this is well worth your time. The visitors centre was closed, but they had clear paths and plenty of maps, with statues to find dotted about, each denoting the diverse creatures in the area... How many can you find?”

“Not knowing what to expect in my new small town I was a bit apprehensive to call Lakeside & Purfleet Taxis. I was pleasantly surprised. My driver Paul was here within minutes in a nice clean car and was very friendly and pleasant. I am very pleased to know I can depend on them for future needs.”

“Stayed here with work. Very clean accommodation. Very Friendly staff. Next to the lake and Lakeside shopping centre. Free on site car parking. Bargain priced food. 2 courses under £13. Happy hour on drinks in bar between 5 and 7. Brilliant value accommodation. Yes maybe a little short staffed but I was not in any rush. Its not marketed as a top class hotel so don't expect it. If you want that then book elsewhere. If you want basic, clean accommodation with friendly staff then book here. Will definitely stay again when in area. Brilliant value for money.”

“I enjoyed my stay here very much. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, it was quiet and plenty of space to put belongings. The room included towels and a hairdryer, as well as the hotel's own shower gel and shampoo, which was handy. The hotel provides you two hotel keys, even though I travelled alone, this was helpful. The card with keys was a voucher for a free complimentary drink at the bar, which was a nice touch. The staff were helpful and friendly, nice and quiet hotel, and offered a breakfast buffet, too pricey for me, so I opted out. The hotel is situated close to shops and bars and restaurants. Would definitely uyse again.”

“Had afternoon tea here with my wife as I have never had this myself so my wife thought it be nice to take me here also we have been here several times to her work Christmas Parties over the years great venue for parties and was great sandwiches and cakes was lovely to sit outside not stayed in the rooms so can't rate them but by the quality services and food and having been there a number of times I should imagine they are nice also. Definitely worth the trip for afternoon tea I suggest everyone to try it as the pictures Definitely look very kool and posh and always always CREAM FIRST THEN JAM remember this no excuses now as you have heard it here as a FACT”

“My boots were taken from me by staff while I was sleeping. When I asked them to call the cops, they found my boots in the office claiming that I need to lock them in a specific locker, that matches the bed number, with a padlock because they said people get entire suitcases left behind. The kitchen was super clean and of restaurant quality. Free tea. Hot showers. Laundry. Great location. I'd definitely stay here again. It's worth it if you lock up your valuables and sleep with your keys inside your clothes. Thanks Clink .”

“Amazing location, very easy to find from King's Cross area. The area itself does not feel very safe at night but I was aware of this when I booked the hotel. We booked the windowless cozy room because we were on a tight budget - it was ok for 2 people for a couple of nights but any longer and I think we would have cabin fever. Next time I will pay for a windowed room because it was very weird waking up without daylight. The room itself had everything you need though, shower, toilet and sink were clean and modern, TV worked great. Breakfast and the lobby was my favorite part. Everything was portioned out into cute little bowls already so all you had to do was grab them and go. A great selection of pastries, cereal, fruit and hot drinks. I would definitely stay again.”

“We had a lovely one night layover at this hotel. Bee, at the desk, was extremely helpful in making sure we had the accommodations we had requested. So lovely. Even as we were waiting for confirmation she put our phone on charge. Carlos helped us with nearby options for activities. We enjoyed the chat and our room was better than expected. Lovely people to work with.”
