“What a hidden treasure. We live around here but this is our first time visiting. I just had what might be the best quiche I've ever had. It just melts in your mouth and makes feel at home. The salad was fresh and perfectly seasoned and salted. Can't wait to come back to try other items on the menu.”

“Excellent food and friendly staff. I had a delicious bowl of fresh pasta with a beef ragu. It had all be cook to order, the flavours were well balanced and very tasty. The coffee was quality too, you could tell the beans were fresh and it was served strong with a lovely crema on top. Adem himself is so friendly and you feel like you are a really valued customer. I can't wait to go back and try everything else from the menu.”

“I had a great manicure with Nat yesterday. I was able to park downstairs before she escorted me up to her flat. Her set up is great, very professional (what i would expect in a salon), clean and a huge selection of colours, glitters and powders to choose from! I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted and had lots of different photos but Nat was very patient and helped me choose. We ended up going for something completely different and fun - hand painted leopard print nails! Overall my experience was great, Nat walked me through the aftercare before I went home so I can ensure my mani looks it's best for as long as possible. Now I just need to decide what to do next!”

Each team member has their own unique style, with each cut better than the next! Great fades! They are really friendly, relaxed and willing to go with the style you like but also try something new! “A friendly, off-the beaten track local pub, serving great ales direct from the cask. Very traditional interior, and the locals are engaged in funny conversations and banter. This was a great pit stop on our long walk. I think this was how all pubs used to be - a genuine meeting place rather than somewhere to extract money out of you - I hope it never changes!”

“Went to the Growler stop for first time last night. Great, helpful and pleasant staff. Lovely welcoming atmosphere. Very extensive beer menu that the staff will help you with. We sampled quite a few across the range, pale ales, ipa’s, bitters and stouts and they were all lovely. We will be returning and next time our wives said they’ll come with us and sample their gins :-)”

“I treated myself to a haircut in the city - for the first time ever - as I've been in a low place recently. Suki has given me a great haircut, I'm so pleased with it. I had a lot of weight pulling my hair down, Suki identified why this tends to happen as my hair is thicker. She layered it well and even after washing and styling it myself, it sits nicely and it looks super healthy. I look and feel much better. Suki was also lovely to talk to. :) The hairdressers has a nice atmosphere, there were lots of different styles being cut on the day I visited.”

“Having read good things about Ruffians and seeing the concerns the team have addressed on their website's FAQ, I had a feeling I had found the hairdressers I have been looking for a long time. Nevertheless, going for a haircut to a new place is always a nervous time for me. My entire mindset changed as soon as I walked in to Ruffians and was greeted very warmly by the staff. I was then handed over to the extremely capable and understanding Mike who did my haircut. Mike is a true haircutting star. He listened to me and gave me advice that was relevant. I walked out feeling great, calm and with the rare feeling of looking forward to my next haircut. An amazing experience in all.”

“Hidden gem! Fantastic roast dinners on Sundays and bring your own wine for a modest corkage charge. The owners couldn't have been nicer and the food is incredible. We've already made arrangements to go again with a group of friends. You may have to navigate yourself around several buggies and prams when you're there and seating is limited but it's worth it. This place is a must try and incredible value for money, I can't recommend it highly enough.”
