North Cheam Academy Of Dance
● Open76 Windsor Avenue, Sutton SM3 9RX, United Kingdom“NCAD is a wonderful dance and musical theatre school run by Sarah Jackson. My daughter had tremendous fun during her time at NCAD, especially starring in their shows! Sarah manages to get the balance between laid back and encouraging ambition. Children who just want to have fun are welcome here and there are great opportunities for those who wish to take their performing arts seriously. You can take your dance G.C.S.E. and several NCAD protégées have gone on to star in West End shows. Class prices are very reasonable to so all in all this is a great place for your child to come to explore the performing arts and grow into a talented and successful professional if that's what they want to do.”

Luanda Pau Afro-Cuban dance club
● Open“Luanda is a fantastic teacher and is so knowledgeable about Cuban dance. Her classes have structure and she breaks down all the moves so that beginners like me can easily follow and make great progress whilst the more advanced students can work on the finer detail, add flavour and do harder variations. She's very friendly and welcoming and has often made me feel better when I'm having a bad day! The live music she often has elevates the classes even more! (pre COVID of course!). Thank you so much Maestra!”

Fleur Estelle Belly Dance
● Closed9 Endell Street, London WC2H 9SA, United Kingdom“Are you interested in learning belly dance in a professional, fun and nurturing environment? I guarantee you that Fleur Estelle Dance School ticks all the boxes! I discovered the school in 2008 when I attended a beginners drop-in class with Fleur on a whim, and have made it my "home" ever since. They offer a variety of courses, catering to different levels so you can explore various styles, props and fusions. If you're interested in performing, you have the opportunity to show off the choreography you learn in class at the end of term shows (if you choose to) and discover the glamour of the belly dance stage. The teachers are amazing - talented, inspuring, and encouraging. They make the classes enjoyable and help you grow on your journey by gently taking you out of your comfort zone, as well as giving you constructive feedback in a kind manner. The students are also friendly and supportive, making for a really lovely community. You won't regret trying it out :-)”

She is encouraging, supportive, kind and funny!! She is incredibly knowledgeable and I loved the pace of the class. She addresses any questions/concerns while continuing to move the class forward which I appreciated, as it stopped me from overthinking and allowed me to relax and have fun!! She created a great choreography for us to learn throughout the series and really made sure that we had all that we needed to learn the material. Spotlight Dance & Theatre School
● OpenBassil Road, Hemel Hempstead HP2 4BB, United Kingdom“I can't speak highly enough about Rachel and her team at Spotlight Dance & Theatre School. My girls have been involved with Spotlight since they were young, attending the Friday classes (with some great presentations at the end of the term to see what the kids have learnt and how they are progressing). My girls are now older and attend the Saturday morning classes and they love them. They thrive on the opportunity to perform and look forward to the Musical performances and can't wait for this year's show (having missed out on live performances during the Pandemic). Their confidence has soared from the encouragement from Rachel and her team and to see them up on stage makes us all proud! Well done Spotlight!”

Hasina Belly Dance
● Open“Really enjoyable belly dancing classes - you are shown both the technique, the dance moves and encouraged to take your time in learning the steps. I always knew belly dancing was not easy as I tried a few classes in Egypt, but in these sessions you learn to appreciate the complexity, multi-layered-ness, and the stamina required to build a good belly dance routine. Very glad I signed up! I hope this could be the start of an interesting journey with raqs sharqi.”

Eos Dance School
● Closed“I cannot thank Miss Ari and Eos Dance school enough for the ongoing support my daughter received. Due to personal circumstances we had to relocate to London and whilst staying in a temporary accommodation, I reached out to Miss Ari enquiring about a concession for my daughter, explaining how much she loved Balet. Miss Ari was very understanding and accommodating. The enrolment process was easy enough to follow. She even provided the uniform and offered extra classes to my little ballerina. My daughter loves miss Ari and still remembers her teacher. We have now moved to another area in London and although my daughter no longer attends Eos Dance school due to the distance involved, she still carries on with Balet and I am forever grateful for the support we received at the most difficult time in our lives. Would definitely recommend Eos Dance School to everyone.”
-
Flow Dance Oval
● Closed“Thursday Pilates class with Josie Kukor was great. This was my first time at Flow, so wasn’t sure what to expect. I am completely out of shape - but Josie was incredibly kind and helpful to get me started. There needs to be more instructors as warm as she is - makes everything so much easier. The dance studio is not pretentious and feels very much like “home”.”
