The Open University in London
● Closed“The Open University showed enormous empathy when I was struggling to function. Unbeknownst to me I had exhausted my personal store of vitamin B12 and folic acid. I was losing my ability to focus and often had to re-read previously read text more than once. I feared narrowing of the main arteries in my brain, and began to despair. I was fortunate. Despite surviving a previous atypical stroke, my brain and body were simply short of 2 chemicals: vitamin B12 and folic acid. A metabolic disorder. I cast around for an explanation. I began to compare and contrast my current diet with my childhood diet. My childhood diet was full of root vegetables, peas, beans and other nutrient dense goodies. I have now returned to my childhood diet. I feel amazing. My weight ballooned by 8st in 6 years! I spent long hours in bed reserving my energy for critical activity only. I changed the layout of my bedroom. This process took many months of careful financial planning. I now have so much more than I did before. I am rich with an abundance of blessings. I am so grateful to the Open University. Had the student mentoring team not been paying attention, I might have struggled on, clueless, as to my short-term memory loss issues. As it is, I know that there is someone watching over me. Therefore, I can proceed with confidence.”

Laurus
● Open“This is first time I have used Laurus re mortgage having been recommended to them. They have been first class. They responded quickly and thoroughly to all queries, not only by email but also there was always someone to speak to. I have been really pleased with the service and the outcomes. They are good value too being very clear at the beginning of the process re the fees. I will certainly use them again and would highly recommend to others.”

The secondary section of the school is new and i can see that the headmaster and the rest of the staff are trying to improve all areas of the school. I think the school needs more help and input from parents.”

Ark Oval Primary Academy
● Closed“My son is in Reception in this school and I am very pleased with the way the school is running. Staff is really good and always ready to help and one thing that I felt outstanding is the way they have managed during this pandemic - They have gone to all lengths to get this done - by arranging staggered arrivals/departures based on year groups, clear communication to students and parents, managing both online and in session classes for keyworkers' students, arranged oxfordowl account so that children need not bring school books from library, a change in the school uniform strategy (using their standard uniforms, PE uniforms and own clothes on alternate days) and the list just goes on. Staff provided honest reviews and feedback about kids and they always set the standards high.A big thank you to the entire team!”

The Chartered Institute of Marketing
● Open“Just wanted to say that Georgia in the member services team was great when I received a membership upgrade and was unable to pay online (tech issue). Georgia said she would call back when she could process payment. Naturally expected she wouldn't as that's the general experience with companies, but she was great. She called back right away, took payment and processed the upgrade straight away! Went really smoothly. Thank you :)”

Active Early Years Academy
● OpenIckenham Road, Ruislip HA4 7BZ, United Kingdom“Sarah looked after my first son at preschool 14 years ago, so, when I had to decide where to send my youngest son to preschool, I didn't hesitate - I knew that she and her team would be absolutely right to look after him. My son started in September 2019, aged two and four months, and settled in incredibly quickly, thanks in no small part to Active Early Years Academy's child-centred approach. They really do care, they take the time to get to know your child, to encourage them, but at the same time, to let them go at their own pace. We were so upset when his time was cut short there due to Covid-19. He often talks about preschool still, his friends there, the activities they did. I am forever grateful that he had such a lovely start to school and I feel sure it will stand him in good stead in the future. I wholeheartedly recommend Sarah and all at Active Early Years Academy.”

Adventures Day Nursery: Newbury Park
● OpenAldborough Road North, Newbury Park, Ilford IG2 7SX, United Kingdom“My son started at the nursery over a year ago now as a baby and at first we were very nervous being first time parents, but we shouldn't have been. He absolutely loves the nursery and the staff and have blown us away with the love they show our son and the time they spend on activities with the children. We get regular updates and photos of the fun he's been having. Once we knew we were having a second we made sure to let the nursery know quickly for a placement, now both are with Adventures and couldn't be happier. The staff here are fantastic!”
