Global London College
● Closed“I really can’t believe that I can find a language class in central London, and the teachers here are so good. My English level is improving rapidly, and the face-to-face teaching is really good. I didn’t speak English before. , But now I can communicate casually, and almost all can understand. This is really a very good English class. I decided to study English here all the time. The teaching here is the most professional I have ever encountered.”

Busy Bees at Teddington
● Closed“Our two year old has been at the wonderful nursery for a few short months and has settled in beautifully and is thriving! He really enjoys his nursery days and we pick him up full of beans and excited to tell us all about his adventures. The manager and carers are all lovely and have created a fun environment for the children with great resources. The building and rooms are beautifully maintained, the menu is balanced and varied and the garden is huge and much enjoyed by our son. The daily updates on the app are so reassuring and the handovers are always thorough. They have managed to create a nurturing haven of normality for these little people at this strange time and that is hugely appreciated. We researched and visited a good few local nurseries and we couldn’t be happier with our choice! Thank you so much Dani and the team at Busy Bees - keep up the fantastic work! xx”

Hampton Court House School
● Closed“Hampton Court House implements intellect, values and independence in each and every student. The school's unique and subtle qualities of love, equality and a passion for learning emanates an atmosphere of compassion and enlightenment. As a former student I can say with confidence that my life and mind would be in an entirely different state, and not one I would adhere to. Hampton Court House can and should be perceived as a statement against the dire condition and appalling lack of care our education system has employed on schooling. This school trumps the illogical parts of traditionalism and has revolutionized the way schooling is conducted in order to harness a wide array of qualities and skills that students benefit greatly from. Furthermore HCH actually prepares students for later life and teaches them about wider society, which is a huge benefit and difference compared to most other schools. Students leave HCH feeling immensely motivated and prepared to achieve great things.”

Edge Grove School
● Closed“Our daughter (now in year 8) has been at Edge Grove since year 6 having spent all her previous schooling in the French system. We joined the school at a time when the new headmaster, Me Evans, was still putting in place his vision, but we felt that he knew exactly what he was wanting to do, and we completely bought into that vision. We have not been disappointed. The pastoral care has been first rate, particularly helping our daughter in the transition to a British Independent school. From what we have seen, any pastoral issues are dealt with speedily and sensitively. Great emphasis is put on politeness and creating the right environment for learning, whilst enjoying everything that the school has to offer. The education curriculum is innovative, supportive and stretching, and the school is doing a fantastic job of supporting all year 8 pupils in preparation for CE, truly differentiating based on the schools they are applying to and the exams they will be taking. Extra-curriculum activities are great too - the Director of Music is fantastic and the improvement in the quality of all school music activities has been marked, while the head of girls' games is really raising the bar too. Staff go beyond what one might expect and respond rapidly and helpfully to any questions or concerns. The parent community is friendly and welcoming. The school certainly deserves its recent rating of Excellent in all regards from the Independent Schools Inspection. I highly recommend the school to any prospective parent.”

Ark Oval Primary Academy
● Closed“My son is in Reception in this school and I am very pleased with the way the school is running. Staff is really good and always ready to help and one thing that I felt outstanding is the way they have managed during this pandemic - They have gone to all lengths to get this done - by arranging staggered arrivals/departures based on year groups, clear communication to students and parents, managing both online and in session classes for keyworkers' students, arranged oxfordowl account so that children need not bring school books from library, a change in the school uniform strategy (using their standard uniforms, PE uniforms and own clothes on alternate days) and the list just goes on. Staff provided honest reviews and feedback about kids and they always set the standards high.A big thank you to the entire team!”

City of London School
● Closed“Great school. My son started there in OG (Year 6) last September and loves it. Kids are bright, parents are friendly and the teaching seems excellent. Doesn't matter what you are into (music, sport etc.) they seem to cater for it. Although it's a private school, it's a lot less snobby than some state schools - especially some of the Grammar schools.”

Lancasterian Primary School
● Closed“I went to this school in the early 70's :) as did my brothers, Paul & Ray Taylor :) - great memories of this place - Mr Gordon, the scariest teacher but he got great results - separate playgrounds and going on the field in the Summer :) - the sweet shop across the road - and when it was your birthday you and anyone else with a birthday that week, got to stand at the front of the assembly holding this round wooden circle thing with candles burning while everyone sang happy birthday - health and safety eat your heart out”
