“Bao-tastic Reluctant to leave a review about this place as it’s a hidden gem. The bao’s are delicious - pork is the traditional signature dish - but prawn and chives is my personal favourite. But also try the pancake and wanton soup. It can get busy sometimes as it’s about the size of a bao. It’s mainly a take away place - however there are some seats to dine in. But it’s family run, fast and very yummy”

I have never in my 27 years of living had someone as incredible as Michelle sit down with me and explain EVERY problematic thing I’m facing with my hair AND how to fix it. I’m from Los Angeles, and I was in Richmond for work. I’ve spent the past several years getting Keratin treatments on my hair because I naturally have very frizzy and course hair. No matter what cream, shampoo, styling regimen I had tried, nothing EVER worked to help get my hair to a decently manageable place. The ONE thing I found that worked as a temporary solution were keratin treatments. I started getting them regularly every 4-5 months. This in itself started to cause issues with my hair, as I found my hair getting incredibly brittle and dry, while morphing into a weird half curly half straight texture. I kinda ignored those “negative” side effects from the treatments because my logical brain said “but Keratin is HEALTHY for my hair, why on earth would that be the thing that was damaging it??” So I of course blamed my new hair issues on the different shampoos and hair creams I was trying at the time. Well fast forward to being in Richmond, England for work, and my hair was starting to get really frizzy again. So naturally, I was due for another keratin treatment. I found Sheen salon online, and liked that Sheen was an organic salon, so I immediately called and booked a smoothing treatment. I had an appointment with Michelle and I had NO idea what I was about to walk into. Before giving me any hair treatments, she sat me down and asked me to tell her all of my hair concerns. I went into detail about how my hair at the top of my head is incredibly oily, and the hair at the ends is inanely dry. I explained my incredibly long journey with keratin treatments and so on. To my surprise, she was not only educated in hair care, but she also knew the SCIENCE behind hair and how to take care of it. She went into explaining how adding so much keratin to my hair can actually damage it!! I was so blown away! She then told me that she does not recommend I get another treatment, and that instead, I should start focusing on making the hair I do have as healthy as possible so I can learn to love it. If I’m being honest, I didn’t even know something like that could be possible. I’ve never EVER loved my natural hair, and I didn’t think I was about to start loving it now. And to give context to how my hair was looking while I sat in that salon chair chatting with Michelle - my hair was literally breaking off as Michelle was touched it. My hair had never been in a worse condition. She explained to me that hair care is a journey, not a one-time fix, and that she loves cultivating healthy hair routines for her clients so they can embark on journeys of having healthy and beautiful hair they LOVE. She said that even though I live in California, she is here as a resource to help me get back on track and not only restore my hair, but also help bring it to its highest and most radiant potential. The last time I saw Michelle was 5 months ago, and (I seriously cannot believe I’m about to say this) LOVE my natural hair now. I rarely even touch my heating tools anymore, and I’ve never gotten so many compliments on my hair. My natural curls are coming back, and my hair is growing fuller, and is no longer breaking off. The products she recommended to me are from an organic brand called “Natulique” and that’s ALL I’ve used for the past 5 months. If I could afford to fly Michelle out to Los Angeles every 6 weeks to do my hair, I absolutely would without any hesitation. I promised myself I would try to keep this google review short, but I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about Michelle. I have her saved on my phone as “Michelle The Hair Angel.” I CANNOT wait to come back! THANK YOU MICHELLE!”

Although the threading cost £7 it was so worth it in comparison too a lot of the other eye brow threading places in Kingston. I've previously used a lot of the shops in the Kingston area and they don't take much care or time in what they do. However, I would definitely recommend this place. There was a lot of care and time put into my treatment. I am very impressed and will regularly carry on going here for my eye brow treatment and will try the other treatments on offer.”
