“A good local Chinese take-away with all the authentic dishes available. We ordered via Uber Eats and went to collect our order after only 10 mins from submitting it. On arrival we received a free bottle of Pepsi which was a nice touch. Can’t understand the 3.4 star rating, maybe we were lucky with waiting times and collecting as it was early on a Sunday eve. Recommend people do the same to avoid issues like others have reported. Side note - love the fact they give out a proper portion of pancakes for the Aromatic Crispy Duck!”

“Paid a visit to the Golden Chef at the weekend, this is the second time we have been since the new owners took over. The food was spot on again and there was plenty people dining. Everyone seemed to be complimentary about both the food and the service. Jenny has returned looking after front of house. We will be returning in the near future.”

“First time visit - being taken out for my birthday! Excellent meal from the banquet - good selection of tasty starters with more than enough for five from four meals. My wife and I shared the Tao curry and lemon chicken with fried rice and noodles. Again, large portions and delicious! Service was professional and friendly with food delivered at a nice pace. Not cheap but worth it perhaps for a special occasion - certainly recommended and I'll go again (when someone else is paying)!”

“Cork and Fork hosted my Aunt's 70th birthday meal and they didn't disappoint. We ordered ahead to help the restaurant prepare as there was over 20 of us. The team were there when we needed them and happy to assist with separate drinks tabs. The food was lovely. Substantial portions and arrived piping hot. I had a selection of small plates and all were tasty, particularly the bang bang chicken, sticky and sweet, and the side of chips were amazing. Large and perfectly fluffy on the inside and not greasy at al. Delicious! Well worth a visit. Thanks to the team for looking after us”

“Had our first Chinese from Mr Chans tonight (Saturday 19th March 2022). Checked out the reviews first - all seemed good. All was good. The shop was very clean. The staff were very polite and the service was really quick and most of all the food tasted lovely. Started simple with chicken foo yung, fried rice, chips and curry sauce. All very tasty. Will definitely be going back to taste some other meals off the menu.”
