“I ordered the chicken and bacon salad and it was absolutely gorgeous, I wasn’t expecting much but it came with cous cous, melon and coleslaw and more. Lovely service and decently price. Would definitely come here again 10/10 recommend!”

“Such a great hotel. The staff,the food and the rooms are fantastic. Such a nice environment to eat and drink in. The bedrooms are so nice with lots of free treats. Only 5 minutes walk from the city centre. Subsidised parking is available in the multi storey 5-10 minute walk for £12 for 24hrs. Will definitely be our go to hotel when we visit Chester again.”

“This is the 2nd time I have used Roomzzz and they did not disappoint. Fantastic little hotel for a short stay away. Rooms offer everything you need with adorable decor. The staff however are what make this place, extremely helpful and welcoming who are there whenever you need them. The amenities are great aswell and it’s in great location for you to go round Chester! Wouldn’t defiantly recommend staying here for a great short stay!”

“I choose Travelodge for value and location. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I particularly want to praise Danielle. She checked me in and was very welcoming. I ate in the restaurant that evening. I was the only diner so had a bit of a wait. No problem for me as the food was freshly cooked and very good value. I was pleasantly surprised when Danielle added a large glass of wine to make up for my long wait. I will definitely return as I trust the brand.”

“What a brilliant hotel. Staff super friendly and knowledgeable, really good service. A glass of fizz on arrival, great recommendations by lady Concierge. Great decor throughout the hotel nice bar area, very comfy seats. Rooms generous sized, clean. Free WiFi, fridge, safety deposit box, TV, and air con in rooms. We didn't use the pool or spa facilities. Great location. Car parking £10 day. Highly recommended.”

“Easy to find with plenty of parking. Open very late (10pm on the day I visited) which helps people with busy lives. It is within the Sainsbury's shop footprint so very clean, tidy and presentable as you would expect”

“Stayed over Christmas and had a great time. The hotel was, understandably, short staffed and then had IT issues thrown in. The staff - especially Charlotte, kept their cool and sorted everything out efficiently including a forced room change mid stay. The hotel itself is exactly what you expect, no more, no less. What made it for us was the wonderful staff. Premier Inn, this is aimed at you… look after your staff! They turn the negatives into 5 star reviews! Thanks Charlotte and all the team!”

“I've stayed here a couple of times for work purpose and have to say it's lovely here. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Doesn't matter what time of day. All super friendly and helpful. Rooms are lovely and clean and food is very good also. Will be here again in New year for sure”

“We came into the store to look wedding rings and we were greeted by a wonderful lady called Dee. She was so helpful and gave us such an amazing experience. She measured our ring size after so many jewellery shops wouldn’t do it for us in Chester. Thank you for being awesome ❤️”

“We had a great time. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Food great quality, drinks good quality and fairly priced. Room very clean & comfortable. Only slight drawback for some, would be the long winding walk to our executive room, but we were warned beforehand with an apology. Used the pool which, once again was a very pleasant experience. Would certainly return for another stay.”

“Booked a gender scan here and the service was amazing! Lovely staff who talk through everything and genuinely seem happy for you! We could bring up to 5 people and our 20 month old son which was lovely. Really good experience will be recommending to people!”

“Lovely stylised seating area outside, lovely clean and stylish inside. Owned and run by a lovely husband and wife ( he is from istanbul) he was super friendly, couldn't do enough to ensure all his customers were happy. He even brought a small sample of feta and watermelon for my husband. The mezze dishes were really tasty and fresh. The bread hot and replenished for the hummus of you needed more. Food was delicious and we would highly recommend eating here. They also sell cushions/ rugs/ wine/ jewellery to take away, as well as proper Turkish delight and bags of tea and coffee etc. Good selection of wines and spirits, nice place just for drinks. The lagers were good too. The brunch menu also looked good. We will definately be visiting again.”

“This is a great toy shop which is large and full of toys and games for children of all ages. There's so many great touches including steps up to the counter for the littler people. All staff are friendly and knowledgeable and as great at talking to children as well as grownups”

“Booked a table for dinner very easily online. Greeted and shown to our table which was in the perfect spot. The food was exceptional as was the service throughout the evening. Two members of Staff that really deserve a special mention were Libby who served at our table. She was very efficient, patient and attentive and Alex the barman. He brought our wine to the table and waited until we tasted it to make sure we were happy. Also, his cocktail making skills are 100%. The atmosphere was amazing. We met some lovely people and had a fantastic night. We will definitely return soon.”

“The play barn is excellent. Our 20 month old thoroughly enjoyed the under-3s area but then progressed to the section for older children where there was plenty for him to do. But there is scope for much older children to use the apparatus on the upper levels that younger children can’t get up to. On the day that we were there Sadie was the girl on duty. She was friendly, chatty, enthusiastic and helpful. She obviously enjoys working around children. We live in Liverpool and it isn’t exactly on our doorstep but it is so good that we will return soon.”

“Amazing experience. My son has additional needs and feet measuring has been stressful in the past. Isabelle took us to the back room which was much more calming for him. Great staff, a calm experience. Cannot praise highly enough.”

“We had a room booked in January but unfortunately as we was travelling we had a phone call from the manager that the previous customer had fallen through some glass and the bathroom was ruined. He very kindly got to work contacting other hotels for us in the city as an alternative. Managed to get us a lovely room in the Queens hotel and as it was more expensive they said if we came down they would refund us the extra and give us a round of drinks on the house. I just wanted to say a big thank you! And for the drinks. We managed to still have a lovely night in Chester for my brothers birthday. These things happen and It was really appreciated that the manager took time out from I'm sure was a busy weekend to help us. I hear they are having a refit so will definitely be booking again in the future.”

“We are on holiday so looked for local tea dances. We found this & were delighted. Anthony welcomed us & made sure he played dances we knew. The other dancers were lovely, smiley and could not have been nicer to us. We highly recommend this fortnightly tea dance to anyone living locally or, like us, passing by. 10 out of 10 for this tea dance. Sonya & Steve”

“I found a lovely occasional jacket and was helped by Samantha who advised me on clothes to go with it. All im saying is.... I was in Sales for 26 years and Samanthas up-selling skills are second to none. It's hard to get me to spend a lot of money so this girl needs a pay rise as well as promotion... “My little girl has just graduated from Becky's Hartford Baby Sensory group after 2 amazing terms. She's had the best time and grown so much! Becky is absolutely fantastic. Amazing with children and really knows her stuff regarding which activities help the babies in which way. Very highly recommend Becky's group and I'm quite frankly gutted that my daughters time there has come to end :)”
