“It's high and long and a lovely break from the bit before and Trefor basin where there was a very grumpy shop man in a boat. The aqueduct itself is interesting and the swallows around it fascinating. Not ideal of you're scared of heights though! Little que to get on but mostly well managed by boat driver (should add that we didn't do this on foot but via canal boat)”

“Had a fabulous welcome from an assistant named Oliver on arrival. Thoroughly enjoyed walking our dog through the woods - currently thronged with wild garlic and bluebells, followed by a peaceful stroll along the stream through the French Meadow. The formal gardens are spectacular with vibrant tulips, and there is blossom aplenty on the fruit trees. Beautiful!”

“It was a mixed feeling adventure time for me..... I had fun with my friend..... At a point I was just stuck in the middle then I ask myself "who sent me to do this"”

“We (3 adults) spent a couple of hours here on a cold day. It was lovely to see all the different wildfowl. It is good value for the size, with free carers and discounts available for students, pensioners, and unemployed. There are talks and feeds at intervals throughout the day. The site is accessible (there are small wild areas that may not accommodate pushchairs or wheelchairs). The trails are paved and there are plenty of benches dotted around. There are also plenty of toilets, including accessible toilets. We spent just over an hour seeing the wildfowl and learning about them from the information boards, then we listened to the otter talk before having a warming drink and snack in the cafe (a little expensive but good food, good service, and a clean and spacious area. On a warmer day, we might have spent longer there. It's a good place for all ages to enjoy.”

“Amazing people running the tours, super funny and tell interesting stories about Liverpool. I would recommend as a day out as you can hop off at different places like the cathedral, if you stay on the coach/bus its roughly an hour depending on the tour you choose :)”

“Brilliant tour, worth every penny. If you are thinking of doing the magical mystery tour bus, DO IT! It's a great trip over 2 hours which is so interesting, visiting all the key locations including the houses of the members and the locations of penny lane and strawberry field. Our guide was amazing, very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions put to him. The trip starts at the docks and finishes at the cavern club where we also had a voucher for free entry as well as a discount at the restaurant. Definitely a 5* experience”

“This is the 2nd time myself and family have sailed with Mark. Excellent knowledgeable guide who got us involved in steering the canal boat and opening and closing locks. Afternoon tea was plentiful and delicious. The attached picture is afternoon tea for 2 and our table for 4. A most enjoyable cruise, thoroughly enjoyed by all 4 of us”

“Amazing experience around a 25 minute drive from where we are - we did the toddler friday session (first time we have been) The price was worth it - Was such a good experiance my 3yo loved it. Different areas to explore not to busy or over crowded - given enough time within each area to play. The interactive sessions with the staff were fab! They were all positive happy to help with any questions and good with the little ones. I would reccomend lovely day out and lots to keep little ones interested.”

“We went on two tours with busy bus in November 2022 and really enjoyed both day trips. Shelly was our guide both days and she was fantastic, provided an entertaining and informative commentary during the day. The web site stated a jolly guide will be provided and Shelly fitted this description precisely. Shelly was very helpful and friendly and ensured we had a great days of exploring he lakes district and Wales. We saw a great range of sites both days and did not feel rushed as we travelled along. We had time to explore, eat and attend some shopping for souvenirs. I would travel with this company again, both day trip we attended were great value and lots of fun was had.”

“Me and my dad did the JLR factory tour today, which was an xmas present for my dad and i had just bought a DS. Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish, Greeted at the gate by Brad, and then looked after by Chloe In reception. Sean was our tour guide and he was brilliant, made us feel very welcome and was very knowledgeable, he made it an experience we will never forget. We couldn’t believe the size of the factory and the machines used to build the vehicles, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend to anyone, not just Land Rover enthusiasts. I Just want to say an extra thanks to Sean who bought my dad something from the shop in the factory as his blood sugar was getting low due to him being diabetic, that was very kind of him. I am now going to book the half day driving experience. You won’t be disappointed Richard and John”
