Welcome to The Doneraile Walk, a must-visit establishment located in Tramore, Ireland. On a beautiful day, there's nothing quite like a leisurely stroll along the cliff top, where you'll find plenty of great areas to sit and even enjoy a picnic. The Doneraile Walk is named after Lord Doneraile, a local landlord who generously donated the land to the Townspeople. As you explore the walk's wide open spaces, you'll come across a monument dedicated to one of the worst shipwrecks in Tramore Bay's history - the tragic loss of the British ship "Sea Horse" in January 1816. Over 360 lives were lost, and this devastating event inspired the erection of the Beacon Towers in 1821, where the Metalman stands watch over the bay. Halfway along the walk, you'll also find the old coast guard cannon, positioned on an outcrop atop the cliff, offering stunning views of the bay.
