“A true traditional Irish Pub. the place is an untouched time capsule and highly recommended for anyone visiting, the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming too. Also it probably has the best Guinness in the town.”

“Best pub we visited in Ireland (and we visited a lot) This place has it all. The most friendly owner and landlord Jim, a rich and long family history spanning 95 years, stunning interior and so so welcoming of us all adults, kids and dogs alike. Having heard all sorts of stories about Irish pubs not being dog friendly, our dogs had an even better time than us, and we were blown away by the whole experience. In a typical, and beautiful Irish way, this pub doesn’t really how amazing it is. Right next to the Nenagh Castle car park, Jim had to be told quite how special his place is. Bring dogs, bring kids (please make sure all behave as no one likes badly behaved anythings). The highlight of our week in Ireland. Thanks Jim and the gang. x”

“Definitely worth a visit when ever your in nenagh. Delishous food, great service, good value for money and decent portion sizes. I had the pizza and would say it was the best pizza I've had ever. We arrived and they were booked out but had a seat in the garden outside and it was heated and covered by roof so win win private garden in a restaurant all to ourselves”

“We had the Madras and the chicken burger. The Madras was lovely but it tasted like a mild red Thai than anything I would describe as Madras, The chicken burger was absolutely gorgeous quite possibly the best one either of us have ever had! Service was great, our waiter who was an older gent(unfortunately I never got his name) was fantastic, friendly and very attentive. This place certainly deserves all the high ratings it has gotten before we will definitely return!”

“My first time here. Won't be my last. Lunch menu offered a good choice of dishes. I chose the pasta with prawns. It was DELICIOUS. It was tasty, fresh, hot and creamy. The service was excellent. The staff were polite and courteous. The restaurant itself is spacious, comfortable and clean. I have no hesitation in recommending The Peppermill.”

“Friday night music in cosy front bar went down a treat. Great craic and if you wanted to sing a song yourself you were more than welcome. Staff were very nice and engaged so well with customers and indeed impressed with showing their talents by singing a few songs as well. Check this out for yourself. You won't be disappointed if you do.”

“I have a habit of looking for steak sandwich when out to lunch in different towns. And I have to say that this place for me has the best steak sandwich in Ireland. It was YUM YUM. And the portions were very very good. I highly recommend this place if you are in Nenagh or nearby.”
