“It's a place to be if you are visiting Ballina-Killaloe. Trudy, the owner, is absolutely fantastic, very helpful and extremely nice. She knows a lot about the area and the history. The accommodation is centrally located, has parking, very clean and comfy, very reasonable price too! Breakfast is to die for, most of the breakfast items come from the her garden and she does jams and chutneys!”

“Stopped in during our road trip and tried the latte, cappuccino, American coffee, espresso, apple crumble, strawberry cake, and a blueberry muffin. Everything was made with love and you could tell it was all home grown. The cafe is in a beautiful location on the river & the wait staff were all so very welcoming!”

The Madras was lovely but it tasted like a mild red Thai than anything I would describe as Madras, The chicken burger was absolutely gorgeous quite possibly the best one either of us have ever had! Service was great, our waiter who was an older gent(unfortunately I never got his name) was fantastic, friendly and very attentive. This place certainly deserves all the high ratings it has gotten before we will definitely return!”

“One of my favorite lunch spots in Limerick. The view of the river Shannon and the castle while sitting outside on a nice day cannot be beat. They pour an excellent pint of Guinness and have very tasty food. I’d highly recommend the fish and chips!”
