“I had an amazing experience at the Clareville house! The room was spotless and well equipped. I stayed for a week and the breakfast was the highlight of each of my mornings. Teresa was extremely accommodating and kind. I would happily stay here any time I am in town!”

“It's a place to be if you are visiting Ballina-Killaloe. Trudy, the owner, is absolutely fantastic, very helpful and extremely nice. She knows a lot about the area and the history. The accommodation is centrally located, has parking, very clean and comfy, very reasonable price too! Breakfast is to die for, most of the breakfast items come from the her garden and she does jams and chutneys!”

“The room is clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Katherine is a lovely, friendly and kind host. She is knowledgeable about the town and the neighborhood areas. She helped us solved our rental car issue immediately as she learned we needed help. Her garden is gorgeous and breakfast was marvelous. She prepared the delicious porridge for a half hour with love. She treats her guests with care as well. We will stay there again.”

“Our room was on the small side, but short walk from down to. The woman who runs the place is the sweetest grandmother type lady and so helpful and enjoyable to start the day chatting with. She really made the stay for me.”

“This place is a hidden gem... Staying nearby in druids Glen on holidays. Fancied a good sambo, couldn't have found a better spot! Sandwich menu is vast and ingredients are fresh! At first coffee didnt look like a speciality type but the taste is perfect! A little more love into each cup would be great! Turkey and brie panini & red chicken pesto wrap tasted great! Highly recommend a visit! Ps Google directions are a little off, park in dunnes car park and it's next door to main entrance to dunnes”

“We had a great stay here. Bred is so friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The property is beautiful, and there is a walking trail just at the end of the driveway. The breakfast was so abundant and yummy! Only advice: bring cash with you. Otherwise you will need to wire transfer money, which has been really challenging to do on my end. I wish we could’ve paid by credit card or at least made aware of preferred payment.”

“The Brandon View was such a lovely experience, with a gorgeous setting to match. Helen is truly amazing at what she does. You are immediately greeted with a friendly, warm welcome by Helen and her gorgeous dogs. You feel right at ease. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The electric blankets were also a nice touch as someone who loves to climb into a toasty bed. It was lovely to have biscuits and tea, and chilled water just outside your room. Breakfast was a delicious feast for sure. Brandon View is a lovely little oasis, surrounded by green meadows and farmland.”

The room we stayed in was ADORABLE and the breakfasts were fantastic. Truly couldn't be happier we stayed here! The staff were so lovely and we chatted with them every day. Our room was large with a sleigh bed which was extremely comfortable and we had a wonderful sleep the room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious I chose the full Irish. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Kilkenny. Thank you both for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home.”
