“After seeing reviews and instagram posts, I finally decided to go and get my hair done at London Rd Hair. During my first visit to the salon, I spoke to Paula who was very sweet and understanding when I explained what colour I wanted and the issues I’ve had previously with my scalp. I also got my patch test the same day. Few days later, I had an appointment with Paula as I’ve spoken to her about what I wanted before and thought it would be the right decision for her to do my hair. I was very happy with the outcome because this is the first time I got my hair dyed. I was feeling very nervous but thanks to Paula she was very lovely and helpful, I’m so glad she did my hair so I do recommend her!! I felt very welcomed here, the other stylists also spoke to me and asked if I wanted any beverages to drink, I hope to come back soon!”

“First time I've tried there but was pleasantly surprised to see a guy I knew now working there who previously worked at Nandos(hairdressers over the road)and so he knew exactly how I wanted hair,also bargain price of only £5! Parking can be tight on turner road unless your lucky but a good place to park is across the road nearby at Humber stone park,it's free,just go into the entrance off main Uppingham road where it says cafe,only I minute walk away over the pedestrian crossing.”

The guy cutting my my hair dropped his comb and swapped it out, which in my opinion is really good and gives confidence of them keeping all their gear clean. “I highly recommend Kim Le Nail Bar and would definitely go again! I got a full acrylic set of nail extensions with ombre done for the first time. This included the acrylic set, shaping and design application, unfortunately without thorough cuticle removal, skin exfoliation or moisturising treatment. All the staff were super friendly, socialised, were attentive and provided excellent service. Even prior to my arrival, it was easy to reach them and ask any questions. My nails were done very gently, and the design was neat and thin, which is how I like them. Some other customers got custom nail art done and it was done exceptionally well! The salon is located in a nice area in the city, with plenty of windows and ventilation which I liked. They have a separate room for pedicures for greater comfort and privacy. I also went to Kim Le to get the set removed. The staff was lovely again! My biggest concern with removal is any damage to nails, but the staff took their time, used 3 different drills and hot water to remove the set, being as gentle as possible. I didn't feel any heat, which is a good sign. And then shaped my nails how I liked. Naturally the nails need to recover now, but I am very pleased with how they were removed.”

I’ve had the same lady every time (I can’t remember her name) by coincidence, she is so lovely and friendly meets my need’s everytime. “A really lovely family-run business. I have been having my nails done here for several years and nothing is ever too much bother. My nails always come out looking immaculate and beautiful. The staff are friendly, prices very reasonable and choice of colours is vast. I think, like most people, I took for granted workers in the beauty industry before lockdown until they were taken away from us!! “This was an amazing experience when we first arrived the outsize looked a little run-down but you can see in the photos once we got in the building this wasn't the case, I and my daughter enjoyed the foot soke and hair and nails being done, it was busy as there was a party going on so we didn't get to do singing or the catwalk but once we went into the garden room and had a relaxing Back massage and facial, and face mask making was an enjoyable experience. the staff was amazing as well nothing was too much the high tea was fabulous too”

“Positives: Stayed here approx 30 nights in 2022. Always Lovely and helpful Staff. Fitness Centre and Pool is great and often not busy. Really enjoyed the food - particularly the chef specials! If you are looking for a modern hotel, the décor may not be to your taste - however I personally wasn't bothered about this! Awarding 5* (mainly for the staff) as I think they all do a great job and deserve a good review!”
