Hannah has helped me to understand my fatigue and to prioritise activities that may add to my fatigue but give me pleasure and to delegate those that don’t. She also helped me to understand the impact of my brain lesions and we have worked on improving my memory, attention and understanding why certain tasks prove too difficult for me. “I recently took my 10yo daughter to see Heidi, she has a number of complex learning difficulties, and suffers crippling social anxiety, this usually manifests during daily transition from one environment / task to the next. We have a number of strategies in place to help her cope but when there is a short notice change to her routine, these can prove insufficient. Recently she had to see the dentist for toothache and several cavities were identified, after several attempts to reassure her that it was necessary we got her in the dentist chair only for her to be completely overwhelmed and have an anxiety attack. To avoid having to go into hospital for extractions, we gave hypnotherapy a a try. I have absolutely no idea how it worked, but it worked, really worked, not just for the dentist (all cavities thoroughly drilled and filled) but she is now less anxious as a whole, and even went on her first school trip to the Space Centre last week. Firstly, and an important reason for my continued custom, the staff are friendly and professional. It is a nice experience when you go to see them, from the minute you walk in the door to the minute you leave. The staff are qualified and know what they are doing, and as important, what not to do. My custom has largely been Back and Shoulder massages which I can fully recommend.
