“Whoa!!!! What a place! ! Had no idea Leicester city centre had such a cool bar. The decor is great, the music is funky and the most important bit - a superb selection of gin cocktails/ mixers. In addition to this there are gin-free cocktails and a few craft beers for the weirdos who don't like gin. Tried about 3 different gin based drinks and have an urge to go back to try lots of others!!”

“Metal bar with a Steampunk twist. Live bands and DJ most weekends and free entry unless it's ticketed. They have some wicked merch designed by a local tattoo artist as well. Second floor is great for chilling out. Bikers welcome too. Halloweens always novel here with some of the best booze on tap.”

“Stockwells is a really cool place to visit, it’s quite small but this gives it the advantage of being cosy. The coffee is really good and there is a wide variety of drinks on the menu. We have not eaten there yet but all of the cakes look amazing and I’m tempted to get one every time. They also do events, I went to see some amazing live music there a few years back, the venue is spot on for music, their cocktails and wine are also very good. Highly recommended.”

“Beautiful place. A hidden gem in Leicestershire. We went late afternoon had tea unfortunately no cakes they were sold out. Walked around the lake. My dog loved it and the attention (treats) he got from the staff. I'll definitely return maybe for dinner next time.”

“Ran by a small dedicated team they stock an extensive range of goods everything you would expect and more from a good old fashioned convenience store. From freshly baked pastries, gourmet meats and frozen goods to hardware stationery and of course off licence and cashpoint facilities. Happy shopping”

“Very good rooms with a nice temperature. I didn't notice elevator for the disabled but that's because I wasn't looking for it, so I'm not sure if they have. The restrooms are hygienic. One thing to mark is the volume, for me is just too loud. For little children it's not advisable”
