John Floyd Fields
John Floyd Fields is a park located at 4002 South Pope Lick Road in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Formerly known as “Floyds Fork Park”, this park offers a picnic shelter near sports fields, playground, and restroom amenities. The park is also conveniently located near the Louisville Loop and Pope Lick trail system in Pope Lick Park off Taylorsville Road. The picnic shelter provides a shady spot to relax and enjoy views of the sunlit fields and woodland border. The park features a public sport field, as well as 13 other fields managed by J-Town Youth Soccer Association. The John Floyd Community Building offers a playground and parking lot for visitors. Legend at Pope Lick’s Adventure Outpost inside the community building provides opportunities for team-building exercises and events. Additional parking is available near the southern fields, with paved paths connecting to the Fitness Circle. The Parklands assumed responsibility of John Floyd Fields in 2011 and continues to provide maintenance, operations, and programming. Visitors can enjoy the park's amenities year-round, although water fountains are turned off during the winter months. Whether you're looking to celebrate, exercise, or simply have fun with friends, John Floyd Fields offers a variety of recreational opportunities for all ages.
Seaton Valley Trailhead
Seaton Valley Trailhead is a part of The Parklands of Floyds Fork, located at 7510 Turkey Run Parkway in Louisville, Kentucky. This park system covers over 4,000 acres and is one of the largest donor- and visitor-supported public park systems in the country.
