Grayson Lake Dam Site Shelters, located at 50 Launch Ramp Road in Grayson, Kentucky, offer a picturesque and serene camping experience. Situated just seven miles south of Grayson on state Route 7, these shelters provide a perfect getaway for outdoor enthusiasts. The 20-mile long Grayson Lake offers a variety of recreational activities such as boating, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and hunting. The campground features four group picnic shelters equipped with water and electrical hookups, large grills, and picnic tables. Accessible vault toilets are available on site, and playgrounds are located next to each shelter for added convenience. The surrounding landscape boasts sculptured sandstone cliffs, scenic canyons, and a diverse mix of trees including oak, pine, elm, and the state tree, Tulip Poplar.
