Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lexington Keeneland Airport

"I just like to say I read some of the reviews and I don't know what some people's deals are… this is a pretty good hotel! We missed our flight so had to stay the night with someone close. This hotel is like 10 minutes or less from the airport! The workers were really nice and the hotel was clean. I'm from WV so I've seen ghetto nasty hotels and this is nothing to compare. Like this hotel is nice and I mean a standard hotel… so idk if some Kentucky people or out-of-town people are just stuck up and rich people and have to have their fancy 5 resort experience… this place was nice for the price. The tv worked. The beds were clean. The bathroom was nice and had BIG shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles.. I mean big! Free breakfast and a pool! It's Close to the mall!I mean I thought it was great! Idk why people said it was bad.. It's not.. I honestly think people are dramatic! In WV this would be like a 4-star hotel and I honestly don't know why it isn't. This hotel is clean! The rooms are a good size! FREE breakfast?!? Like come on? Unless you a spoiled picky rich person… this place is nice! Thank you"

"Checking in we were welcomed with some cookies. The extra items I preorders through the app were not included in the room even though I preselected and was an hour after the 5pm check in time. We unpacked and my kiddo wanted to swim. After his swim he got in the shower and midway through he screamed about the mold that was dripping down the shower. I took pictures and video and shared them with the lady at the desk. We were moved...so we packed and schlepped all por stuff to a new room. The lady said we should be credited for the room, but she didn't have the authority to credit anything. She told me to talk to the manager in the AM- the person in the AM said I had to talk to another manager who would be back Tuesday - The breakfast was good. The pool was nice."

"VERY POOR EXPERIENCE!! DO NOT BOOK here. Does not conform to Marriott standards. Booked my stay here for couple nights. While check-in, I informed the front desk that I would need to use a different method of payment other than my credit card on file. She informed me that I can change that or pay using my preferred method during check out. However, while check out, the person (Alex) at the from desk did not know how to change the mode of payment. I requested that he check with someone or his manager. He denied that he can not call his manager because she will not answer at that time (7am). I requested for her number and he did not want to share. I asked for a call back and that never happened as well. I called the hotel the same day at around noon and later again, still the manager was not available. The front desk personnel took my name and number and promised to have the manager, Adella, to call me back. That never happened either. Finally I see they charged my card on file which I eventually did not want to happen. Alex was very rude and did not know what customer service meant. Also, during our stay, the TV did not work at all. Alex mentioned it was due to the rain and no action was taken to fix it. Was very disappointing. Asked for house keeping at about 10am and was told I need to request before 9am for the same day house keeping, if not, it would be the next day. What a fun stay.. NEVER coming back to this place. I am still waiting for the manager to call back !!!!!"

"Had to review for our impressive experience at a budget hotel. Staff was hospitable, with beds and rooms cozy and clean. Mini fridge, microwave nice bonus. Free breakfast with healthy options and variety. Gym with cardio and free weights (missing a 15lb sadly). There is no central AC, but budget hotel - so expected. When we come back, there is no reason to try staying anywhere else. Someone mentioned the windows without privacy curtains, I thought the same thing until I realized a 3rd curtain toward the window that blocks all the light for sleeping in."
