Bearno's Pizza of Middletown

"There were 16 of us from our Condo Association that went to Bearnos Middletown tonight. The address was 13829 English Villa Dr. 40245. I had a Cheese and Ham Pizza on a cauliflower crust. It was very good. It was served good and hot. It’s hard to find a pizza restaurant that makes cauliflower crust pizzas that doesn’t taste like cardboard. I shared a piece with one of my neighbors and she really liked it too and was going to try the cauliflower pizza herself the next time she’s there. My husband had “make your own lasagna” with beef, Italian sausage and extra cheese. He was able to add up to 3 items at no extra charge. It came with garlic bread. He absolutely loved it and ate every bite! It was delivered with steam rolling out. It was a big serving!! Our receipt didn’t have our server’s name, just Cashier 98. She was precious. I didn’t see anyone send anything back or complain about their order. We all told her she did a great job. She even asked if anyone needed a drink to take with them. There was another small group there but there was still enough room for all of us. We had plenty of room to enjoy ourselves and we were all able to talk and hear each other. We’ll go back again. It was close to home."

"Y'all it's more than clear that you're buying cheap ingredients. I don't understand why you would do that especially when it's very clear to the customer the quality of the pizza is going down. Don't fall into the trap, thinking you can cut corners and serve your customer the same way. My pizza tonight had next to no flavor. This is embarrassing for Bearnos. Seriously, it was bad. Please fix it immediately or myself and many other people will not buy your product anymore."

"We got Chicken Parmesan for 3 of us & another got the Submarino Gondola & it was all fantastic! I've had their pizza previously & it's no wonder why it was voted Best pizza in Louisville for multiple years!"

"I am a pizza guy. We tried Bearno’s for the first time this month mainly because of the lack of good pizza joints in Eastwood. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a Mama Bearno’s. The ingredients I’ll give 5-star rating. Plenty of sausage, pepperoni, diced onion, green peppers and black/green olives. The mozzarella was savory and of good quality. The sauce was adequate quantity maybe a tad more given a heaping of toppings. Oven time was very good with browned mozzarella and bottom crust. The problem is the crust. In my opinion it is equivalent to frozen pizza crust. It may be delivered frozen to the store by corporate because it has tiny pin holes all over it. Plus the crust is a bit thick. This knocks the overall rating down to a 2-star. If you are looking for good hand tossed pizza, this ain’t it. If you want a saltine cracker crust loaded with toppings this is your pie!"
