Welcome to the practice of Dr. Julia T. Elpers, M.D., a renowned board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. Conveniently located at 2865 Chancellor Drive, Crestview Hills, Kentucky, Dr. Elpers combines her expertise in medicine with her passion for art to deliver exceptional care in oculoplastic and cosmetic surgery. A Louisville native, Dr. Elpers completed her undergraduate degree with honors in Biology, with minors in Fine Art and Chemistry, at Bellarmine University. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and pursued her internship at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Returning to Kentucky, she completed her residency in Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences, followed by a two-year fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Louisville.
