"I recently visited Mill Creek Dental with my three kids for their routine cleanings. While I appreciate the quality of care they received, I was quite disappointed with the billing process. My family has dental insurance, and we were surprised to be billed $600 for the cleanings (our portion after insurance). The explanation given was that our insurance copay had dropped to 80%, leaving us responsible for the hefty bill. However, I couldn't help but question the accuracy of this explanation (let alone they didn't let us know of the insurance change before the visit). If the copay had indeed decreased to 80%, it seems illogical that the total bill for three kids' cleanings without any X-rays would be $3,000. I expected a more transparent and reasonable billing process, and this experience has left me feeling frustrated and uncertain about the practice's financial practices. I would appreciate better communication and transparency in billing, as it's essential for patients to fully understand the costs associated with their dental care. I hope that Mill Creek Dental can address this issue for the benefit of their patients' peace of mind."
