"Popped into The Broadway for dinner on our first night in West Burlington. My dinner partner ordered Chicken fried Chicken which was delicious! I ordered Catfish which was also yum. The star of the show for me was the sweet potato fries with a house cinnamon butter! Perfect. Friendly efficient waitstaff. Warm welcoming atmosphere. Nice variety menu."

"2 stars because table service was excellent. The food was 1 star and except for the appetizer was absolutely terrible. We ordered ribeye and for just under $30 I got the cheapest cut of steak that was very greasy and 80% fat and gristle. We also got food to go and had this for a BLT when we got home. It’s equally burnt on both sides."

"We had to double check to see if they were open. We arrived around 2pm. They were. One other table at the time. Our waitress was super nice. Tended to us promptly. Our drinks never went dry. I ordered the Elk Burger with waffle fries, both were spot on. My husband ordered the Tenderloin with whatever the waitress liked, which he got thin fries. The tenderloin was average sized, my husband likes the huge ones, the ones that take up the whole plate alone. So he was alittle let down at the size. Great flavor, breading and thickness. The atmosphere was very dark. Great for a nighttime lounge/restaurant. During the early afternoon, it was just too much, to dark, then walking out to a bright blinding snowy cold day. I had to really hold the menu up close to read all the items. Service was outstanding. The food was good. This was on our bucketlist for awhile, so thanks for giving us a good 1st dining experience."

"We went on 7/30/2023 We saw the mouse on our way in outside near the trash. We told the Hostess, but it was still there when we left. THE FOOD. The pretzel bites and cheese curds were fantastic. I should have quit while I was ahead. The New York was overcooked. 2nd steak made us regret not have a meat clever to cut it with. I ordered a black and blue burger with an Elk Patty. Way overcooked and tasted like cold grease, and it was cooked -on the edges - to a flint like hardness. ”. My fries were cold. They brought me some new ones that were hot but tasted like Grease. So, they took away my burger and brought me meatloaf. Same overcooked edges The taste was just like the elk burger. The mashed potatoes were good as was the gravy. The Cuban sandwich was super dry and super tough. Our server did her best and tried to get me a good meal. Didn’t happen but she was amazing. In the end the restaurant adjusted our bill but the dining experience was totally wrecked."

"I LOVE THIS PLACE! What a local treasure. Food was fantastic. I highly recommend their burgers. Creative flavors and super tasty. Cooked to perfection. The waffle fries are great. A friend had the chef salad and it was filled with yummy items. Get the ranch dressing...super delicious!"
