"Great for families with little kids. If you bring a picnic lunch, you can hit the zoo first, then eat lunch in one of the picnic shelters, then let the kudos run wild in the giant playground areas. The little train offers a great view of the grounds for only a couple of dollars each."
"We rode the Train and had fun feeding the baby goats. We saw the majestic bald eagle and the otters. The Emu was scary but cool. And the wallabies were staying in the shade cooling off. Goat food is fifty cents a cone and the butterfly garden was very pretty. Had plenty of places to sit and rest. Really enjoyed ourselves."
"Still a great park with nice improvements from when I was a kid. A good number of small shelters with plenty of seating for picnics. It was fun to see the train still going. Nice to have water fountains for our dog, too. As a visitor to the area, I wish it was more obvious where there are public restrooms."
