Detchon International Center, located on West Wabash Avenue in Crawfordsville, Indiana, is a university facility that houses the faculty of the Department of Modern Languages and Literature, as well as the Classics Department. The center features a reading room, classrooms, seminar rooms, International Hall, and a multi-media computer lab that serves as a language lab during the day and an open lab for student use in the evenings. The lab is equipped with eMac computers, Dell desktop PCs, and software for language study. Detchon Center was dedicated in 1995, with renovations funded by a generous contribution from Irwin Lee Detchon. The building, formerly known as Yandes Hall, has a rich history dating back to its completion in 1890. Today, it serves as a hub for modern languages and international studies at Wabash College.
