Baymont by Wyndham Kokomo

"They have roaches, carpet needs cleaning, and the parking lot needs trash picked up and repaving. They will charge you $50 damage fee when you check in and you will not get back. They tell you that you will get it back. But you don't. After you check out they still charge your credit card. Block your credit card before you walk out. They charged me over $1079 on my card after I left. I learned that the hard way. If you stay there. After 30 days they will drop the taxes and raise the prices. They tell you that you are paying for the month. But you're only getting 28 days before you have to pay again. But with the higher price that they charge you. You are still paying for the 30 days. They will tell you that it's not true. You better believe what you see. Other people had the same problem. They didn't post it for other people to see. I am because I want people to know. So they don't have to go through what I did. A guy that I worked with told me that he had black mold in the room he had and it made him sick. Update. The manger tried to double talk me about the charges. ( She tried to sale me some BULL ) about why they charged me. Don't stay there. If you stay there. Turn your card off before you check out and notify your bank or whoever your card is from. Let them know not to pay any money to them."

"Run down hotel. People in parking lot scouting cars. Broke glass by door outside. I parked vehicle at best Western next door which was full. Air conditioner only work for 5 min at a time. To get it to work again have to unplug it and plug it back in. Don't stay there it is terrible. Pool was disgusting my kids wouldn't even swim. The photos online must be when it was first built. Doors do not lock to get into building and stairs had blunt roaches in the so strong odor of weed. This is the motels my dad would have taken me to when I was a child because it would be the cheapest you could find. I stayed there but I WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN. I had drove 1000 miles from Texas that day and was exhausted. You would be better off sleeping in your car or buying a dang tent. Staff was nice they deserve better and need to quit immediately there is way better out there. Was a hand written note from tonya in room to enjoy our stay. My kids felt so bad for her they wrote her a note telling her she can do so much better for herself."

"The pictures from the Internet is nothing like in person. This is a very outdated building with stained carpet. The exterior door locks do not work so anyone is free to come and go. That was a very security concern on our part! The toilet did not flush which we were told they knew of the problem and would try to get it fixed. After bringing all of this up to the manager, she said she would give us a refund. Turns out there fix to a refund is, they double charged us for the room then gave us a refund for one of the charges to the room. Very nice way to do business! We will never be visiting any of Baymont hotels anywhere else in the country! Be aware of this company as a whole!"

"By far the worst hotel I've stayed in. I had a false sense of hope that the hotel was going to be nice by the front lobby. The lobby was nice apart from the no awning outside the front door so when it rains, the water goes straight down on the door soaking you as you walk in and actually leaking inside. The hallway carpets are stained throughout the hotel. I got a room on the 2nd floor, which the elevators don't have a floor 2 button, so you HAVE to carry all your stuff up a flight of stairs to your room on the 2nd floor. In our room there were several issues, from cleanliness to safety. The only good thing I could say was the bed was... fine. Weird smells, stains everywhere, peeling paint, mold, broken door lock/latch, no shower curtain. All pictures attached. From the reviews, I assumed this hotel was under construction as that is what is always said, but I was there Fri-Mon and saw no signs of renovation. The only time I would ever go to this hotel again is if it is less than $25 a night."

"Last year when we moved to the area, our apartment was not ready for us yet, and Kim and all the staff were so welcoming and helpful as we started adjusting to life in Kokomo. I recommend this hotel to all visiting family, and would definitely stay with them for a night (or 3) away from the kiddos, if we were ever given the opportunity. All my family that has stayed has been more than satisfied with their stays!"
