Butler Bridge Program
● OpenThe Butler Bridge Program, located at 530 West Hampton Drive in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a school that offers a variety of programs for young writers and readers. The institution is currently on hiatus as of Fall 2023, with no scheduled programming, including the Booth Tarkington Writing Contest. Students who participate in the Bridge program have the chance to submit their work to an annual print anthology of student writing, as well as the Booth Tarkington Prize for Young Writers. Edna Martin Christian Center
● OpenThe Edna Martin Christian Center is a community institution located at 2605 East 25th Street in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. This center focuses on providing food assistance to those in need. In addition to their regular services, they will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccination event on Saturday, April 10th from 9am-5pm at KIPP Legacy High School, offering free Johnson & Johnson vaccines. Limited doses are available, so registration is required to reserve a vaccine and help protect the community from COVID-19. The center also recently held a successful fundraising event, their 5th Annual MONOPOLY Tournament, which attracted players from 10 states. The Edna Martin Christian Center is grateful for support from the Central Indiana COVID-19 Community Economic Relief Fund and is actively working on revitalizing the Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood.
