Located at 1331 East Commercial Avenue, Lowell, IN 46356, our dedicated team is committed to protecting the citizens and property of Eagle Creek, Cedar Creek, and West Creek Townships. Founded by a group of concerned citizens, the Lowell Volunteer Fire Department has a rich history of service and dedication. Since our first meeting on October 5, 1897, and the appointment of our first Chief, M.E. Nafus, our department has been a cornerstone of community safety. Over the past 122 years, only 22 individuals have had the honor of serving as elected Chief, a testament to our stable and committed leadership.
