"We had Ethan go down to Georgia a few years ago and pick up our “new” Citabria. And when we decided to sell it earlier this year we turned the entire process over to him. For a hot minute I thought maybe we should try to do it ourselves and save a few bucks. Good grief what a mistake that would have been. Ethan came over to our town, picked up the airplane and took it back to his airport. He digitized all the logbooks and did extensive research on what the market would bring for the airplane. (He decided it was more than we had originally discussed.) He handled all the phone calls from prospective buyers, met with them, and oversaw the pre-buy inspection and the demo flight. He handled all the negotiations (and he is much better at it then us anyway.) He then handled the entire financial transaction and the airplane delivery. The money showed up in our account. I cannot overstate what a seamless hands-off approach this is. Worth every penny!! Ethan is highly qualified, detail oriented, and a consummate professional. Trust me… If you have anything else useful to do with your time, turn your aircraft sale over to a true professional like Ethan. You will not be sorry."

"This review is my personal experience with Malavolti Aviation and also a response to those who have left some negative reviews on his business. My experience with Malavolti Aviation began when I overheard a student at my flight school raving about his experience with finding and ordering flight school supplies through Malavolti Aviation. Mind you, I was in the Chicago Suburbs at this time. Never did I realize that Malavolti Aviation is local to my college, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, in Terre Haute (near KHUF) until I was interested in some of their products and a check-ride for my Sport Pilot Certificate. First of all, their shop is well stocked and the prices are actually lower than most online retailers; not to mention that I don’t need to wait for shipping. Also do realize that Ethan is busy, like most DPEs for check-rides. In Indiana, Sport DPEs are scarce, and fortunately for Ethan, he is one of them. With that, respect his time given the scarcity of DPEs and that he needs to manage other areas of his business as well. As a college student with a limited time schedule, Ethan kindly worked with me to find a suitable time to take my check-ride. He is extremely professional and truly puts his best foot forward to advance the aviation industry. Thank you Ethan and the rest of the Malavolti Aviation team for all your help!"
