"I’m surprised to see so many negative reviews. We had the best experience buying our couch, dining chairs, bed and storage cabinet from them. Liz helped out in the whole process. She was very patient with us. We went to the store three times before we made up our mind. During delivery we found that the display cabinet was damaged, so we called and Liz was helpful in placing a replace order. When that also turned out to be damaged, they returned our money back for that one piece. Overall very happy with our purchase"

"BEWARE!!! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS INDIANA SCANDINAVIAN DESIGNS STORE!!!! Sold us a modular after confirming that we could return a piece if it didn’t fit right. When we got the modular , it didn’t fit right and we called them trying to resolve the issue .. even offering to buy more furniture instead of asking for money back. The team decided to take advantage of us seeing that we were motivated to return that piece for any price.. they told us that they will charge us 50% restocking fee instead of 10% if we return it. When I got corporate involved, the salesman Abdiel and the store manager Lisa even lied to corporate saying that they had sold that modular (RYDEN MODULAR) as a set to us and had made it clear to us at the the time of purchase that we can’t return it which is an ABSOLUTE LIE!!! I absolutely loved the team i worked with in Washington .. they were the kindest and nicest and the most helpful staff ever! Extremely disappointed with the Indiana Scandinavian designs store and the way this whole situation was handled .. the store manager LISA was getting mad at me for getting corporate involved! Lady check your behavior and attitude first!!!! I didn’t get corporate involved to get back at you.. i contacted them for the sake of our relationship with the company which existed even before you became the store manager probably! Sad that such a big company can lose its reputation just for one bad manager! I am not the only one with this issue.. I saw multiple reviews complaining about this particular store’s awful customer service and nothing has changed.. wish I had seen these reviews before I made multiple purchases from this store!"

"Updating review based on the owner’s response: Thank you for your response. My review is not for the delivery date issue, rather it is towards non-courteous staff. Everything else could have been worked out amicably if we were treated well. ************************* Surprised and disappointed with the customer service. We were highly motivated buyers ready to place an order but left disappointed from the store due to the customer service attitude. They do not seem to be motivated sellers and seemed to be perfectly fine to lose a sale instead of being friendly and attempting to convert the opportunity to a deal and this is after we asked them to put together a quote for multiple items. Customer love/customer service definitely needs to improve. This was our third visit in the past couple of weeks as we were figuring out furniture. Will, the first consultant we spoke with during our first visit was awesome and we missed him in today’s visit."

"Excellent designs and service! Jasmine and Lisa are simply fantastic to work with. We had to make multiple trips, spend a lot of time to decide just the right sectional sofas but it was totally worth it. Jasmine and Lisa gave us some very helpful suggestions and options that worked for us. They really want us to love the furniture, not just settle for something. My husband and I felt that they truly cared more about our house needs and budget constraints than simply selling their goods. We are looking forward to more purchases. The furniture is not the cheapest, but really high quality and amazing modern designs."

"This was our first trip in Scandinavian Designs and wow were we impressed!! In very short order we needed to purchase several pieces of furniture for a new home and had been just about all over Indianapolis. I personally have never been here because I figured it was way out of my price range. We were warmly greeted when we arrived, discussed what we were looking for and provided with an overview of where to find things throughout the store. There were so many bright colors, beautiful styles and unique things immediately we saw even just upon entering the store! I had a hard time focusing where to look first!! I was practically giddy looking through all the unique display areas and vignettes! Our sales consultant, Will, was just delightful (as was everyone we met)! He looked at the many photos of our spaces on my phone with me that need furnished in our new home, helped walk through ideas and options, helped look at inventory and just put our minds at ease even with the huge task we had at hand to find new pieces quickly! There was zero pressure, lots of information and expertise and it was just a really nice experience! I love everything about this store and am very excited to recommend to everyone we know!"
