"Arrived to find the elevator was out of service, but at least they put us on the 1st floor. Unfortunately, someone was already in the room they tried putting us in. After getting in the right room, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I like a firm mattress, but this was like sleeping on concrete. The TV had some kind of auto-dimming setting that you couldn't turn off, so as a vision impaired individual, I could barely see the picture on the TV. The bathroom was dirty and the paint was chipped on the walls. All in all, we were not happy with our stay and will avoid Comfort Suites in the future."

"My family of four stayed here four nights on our trip to St. Louis. The lady at check in was very nice. The room was decently clean but dated. The hair dryer did not work and the fridge rattled so badly we had to unplug it. The main issue we had was with the breakfast. All four mornings it there were a scoop or two of cold powder eggs and a few dried out sausage links. The juice fountain was empty. The hot water for oatmeal or tea was empty. The juice in the fridge was frozen. There was plenty of cereal but the milk was empty each morning. We asked at the desk and was told there is no milk. They did have some apples that weren't too bad, a waffle and pancake maker and one morning there was some yogurt. The syrups were empty. One day there was one package of hot chocolate. The trash cans in the lobby and breakfast area were overflowing. Also in four days we had maid service one day. Wouldn't recommend or stay again. I know they are probably understaffed and I get it but we were disappointed nonetheless."

"Made a reservation. After driving 12 hours, got to the hotel where it took over 10 minutes to get someone to come to the desk only to be told that they only had one room available and it was not cleaned. I told him I did not mind waiting for it to be cleaned and was told no that he could not get around to it until tomorrow. I reminded him that i had a reservation and he just shrugged and said it was not clean. Not friendly at all. Sign at the checkin desk said “lift” was not functional. I am a Choice Privileges member and have stayed in Comfort Inn and Suites in 4 states in the last 3 weeks. This did not meet the standards of a Choice Hotel!!!!"

Plus, the ample parking made coming and going a breeze. Throughout my stay, the staff was always ready to assist with any questions or requests I had, which added to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend Comfort Suites Fairview Heights to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in the area. I'll definitely be returning on my next visit!
