Monroe Actors Stage Company, located at 202 South Main Street in Waterloo, Illinois, is a community theater housed in the Historic Capitol Theatre. Serving the residents of Southern Illinois and the greater St. Louis metro area, MASC puts on five shows a year with the goal of providing enjoyable and affordable live theatre experiences. Currently, MASC is presenting a production of Agatha Christie's famous play, The Mousetrap. Set in a secluded country guesthouse where news of a recent murder in London has just broken, the play follows a group of characters who soon realize that the murderer is among them. As each suspicious character reveals their past, the tension rises as the audience tries to figure out who the culprit is.
