The Southern Illinois Collegiate Common Market (SICCM) is a non-profit organization established in 1973, located at 3213 South Park Avenue in Herrin, Illinois. The consortium is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of presidents and chancellors of participating institutions and is supported by a team of professional and operational staff. SICCM was created to facilitate the sharing of resources in higher education among member institutions to better serve the growing needs of the region. The SICCM serves a significant portion of the Lower Mississippi Delta Development region, covering 60% of the 25 counties served by five community colleges.
