Poverty relief efforts in Lockport, Illinois

Located at 106 MacGregor Road in Lockport, Illinois, the Lockport Resource Center Inc is a store that offers a variety of services to the community. The center recently announced Allison Bobek as the recipient of the 2023 Transformation Scholarship. Allison is a repeat recipient of this scholarship, which will allow her to pursue an internship opportunity without financial constraints. The center is still accepting applications for one more Transformation Scholarship for 2023. In addition to scholarships, the Lockport Resource Center hosts an Annual Bicycle Rehoming Event to raise funds for their programs.
