FCNS Child Development Lab
β OpenThe FCNS Child Development Lab, located in DeKalb, Illinois, is a child-centered institution that believes in the importance of play and learning. The lab, operated by the School of Family and Consumer Sciences, offers high-quality care to children of NIU students, faculty, staff, and community members. The lab is home to the NIU Child Care Access Means Parents In School Program (CCAMPIS) and the NIU Preschool for All Expansion Program (PFAE). Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and included in the Gold Circle of Quality by ExceleRate Illinois, the FCNS Child Development Lab is dedicated to providing exceptional care and education to young children.
