The Greenway At Carol Stream

"At first it was great. Safe and clean. But, the rent goes up 30.00 a month every year. I decided I wanted a ground level apt. I had to put a deposit down I told them I needed a weekend move in ti the new place. Well that did not happen. In essence Greenway Screwed me over. Corporate money mongers. The rent is over priced and the place is not worth it."

"The maintenance team is awesome. The 3 years I’ll live at the green way I haven’t had to wait no more than 1 day for any maintenance service . So far nothing major has occur in my apartment everything is very well kept there . I want to specifically thank Ryan from the maintenance team for coming out two times only because I put on the wrong room are request ticket in but he came back out the very next day And fixed the right things in the correct area . Thanks so much Ryan"

"One of best and safest place to stay. I was there for one year and I didn't face any problem/issue for not a single time. Location is good, bus stand is 3 min walk distance. Major stores are nearby. Management are good and helpful. Too much open space. Room is clean and clear. Best place to stay."

"Please do not rent from here. If I can save one person from this experience let that person be you. If you are reading this after signing your lease it is too late but please do not rent here. Come here and ask a resident going into their apartment they will be honest. Do not do it. Do not. Unless you just need a cheap place do not do it. Don’t say I did not warn you. Just know the good reviews are new tenants that haven’t learned and 99.9% are solicited Updated to 1 star from 2 due to their generic response Do a better job to earn 5 stars."

"This past year living at The Greenway has been absolutely fantastic! When I first moved in about a year ago I had a small issue with the sink, but the staff responded right away and fixed my problem the same day I reported it! The staff has continued to be been extremely kind and helpful whenever I had any questions, and did their best to help with the community aspect which can be hard during COVID! Even when I just needed a special lightbulb changed in the apartment, they were there the same day! I have found my 1 bedroom apartment very spacious, plenty of storage space as well as a lot of cabinets in the kitchen! I loved having a washer/dryer in unit, and the counter space was nice to have when folding clothes! The bedroom was also very large!! If you are on a 1st floor apartment you are able to customize the area surrounding your patio a bit, some people go all out with decorating for the holidays! There are sooo many stores and restaurants in the area, as well as amazing walking trails. The amenities have also been nice. I was excited when the pool was open for the summer months, always super clean and refreshing! The gym has also a good amount of machines. I only am moving out since Carol Stream is now too far from my new job, but I really wish I could stay in the area! I would definitely be staying at the Greenway if my new commute wasn't going to be so far, it makes me very sad to leave the complex, I'll miss it a lot."
