The patient care is incredible and I have never dealt with a vet who cares so much that she responds to emails on the weekend. You can see just how much she cares about the well-being of my dog. Never taking my animals to any other clinic again."

"The first time I took my cat, Oscar to see Dr. Katz, we were welcomed by very friendly staff! We were taken into a private room that felt like a spa for cats. Nice soothing music, couch, treats, toys – it was awesome. Then Rasa came in and scooped up Oscar lovingly into her arms and gave him a little tour of their office. It was a great experience. Dr. Katz and her staff helped me to transition, Oscar to more nutritious foods, and Dr. Katz prescribed remedies to help with some of his stomach problems. Unfortunately, Dr. Katz found a mass in Oscar’s intestines. Dr. Katz worked with me to find the best remedy to help Oscar. I truly believe that the remedies helped Oscar to feel better and give us more time with him. Through the difficult months that laid ahead, when I called for guidance, which was often, Mattilee and Rasa, who in spoke with most often, were so patient with me. They really tried to help in every way possible to make Oscar comfortable. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to him on February 9th. Thanks for all the loving care you’ve given to our family and Oscar."

"We started coming to Dr. Katz at Holistic Veterinary Services a little over a month ago when we received some bad news about our sweet boy Theo. Since Theo is an older dog, I knew immediately I didn't want to continue down the path of chemo or radiation for his lymphoma diagnosis. I contacted Holistic Veterinary Services and, from the very start the staff was wonderful! They got me scheduled in, answered my questions and were so compassionate. When Theo took a turn for the worse before his appointment I called to get his appointment moved up, again the wonderful staff was accommodating and genuinely kind. Fast forward to our appointment, as soon as you walk in the door it is welcoming, warm and smells like lavender. It's super clean and the rooms are cozy with comfy couches instead of sterile, cold metal tables. Dr. Katz really took her time examining Theo, she sat with him, gave him rubs and listened to my concerns. I found her to be direct, honest, knowledge and genuinely kind. It was so refreshing! I have never experienced a vet office like this. The staff is always upbeat, super positive and truly happy to see you and your pet. They really care, every single member of the staff cares, they say hello to Theo and I, they pet him when he arrives and when he leaves he gets snuggles and kisses. The care he receives is awesome! I cannot recommend them enough. It is like no other vet experience you have ever had. I know Theo's recovery would not happen if it weren't for Dr. Katz and her amazing staff."

"Dr Katz was "treating" one of my fosters about nine years ago, but my experience has stayed with me all these years. She was not my choice, but that of the rescue who thought her word was the gospel. My foster kitten had severe constipation and she have him some herbs and put him in a raw food diet (do your research, a raw diet can cause constipation). Her "treatments" nearly killed him and the rescue wanted to euthanize him since she couldn't fix him. Luckily, my friend had a vet friend who treated him at no cost and literally saved his life. Some prescription food and a tiny sprinkle of Miralax in his food for a few weeks, and he was perfectly fine. I ended up adopting him and he is alive nine years later because of the vet who knew what she was doing. If left in Dr Katz's care, he would be dead. And if I dared to question her or disagree with her, she became extremely condescending. When she neutered one of my other fosters, she had the nerve to accuse me of allowing him to walk on hot surfaces, because his paw seemed burned. If she actually knew what she was doing, she would've known that he had allergies. I would have never allowed my cats to be in harm's way! Worst vet I have ever dealt with. Stay away from her."

"Dr Katz is A RARE GEM of a veterinarian!! Dr Katz and her entire team of beautiful ladies, are extremely professional, straightforward and caring to any/all of their patient’s needs. I came to her because my Great Dane was vaccine injured and NO vet in the Chicago area would help me treat him. When I initially reached out to her, I was desperate. She responded to me promptly and genuinely, showing her willingness to comprehend my dogs health situation and give me remedies and possible solutions to his problems. A lot of her treatments were trial and error, and I appreciate her willingness to try and learn from each experience. She has helped me successfully treated my Dane’s skin/allergy problems, which were due to his compromised immune system and gave me the appropriate holistic remedies to aid in the rebalancing of his immune system. I have since brought two more of my animals (kittens ) to her for treatment, check ups, blood tests and even neuter procedures. I can attest to how well Dr Katz and her team care deeply for their patients. I willingly travel over an hour to and from her clinic because I know that my pets will receive “top of the line” care. It is SOOOO hard to find a veterinarian that is this skilled and educated, while still respecting my own personal views and decisions regarding the health of my pets. I cherish her as a veterinarian, her honesty, and her willingness to comprehend and do her best to achieve the most beneficial outcome for my fur babies. From my personal experience, Dr Katz and team is very very highly recommended."
