Memorial Hospital Belleville Emergency Room

"So far, it's been over 3 hours. They took blood and vitals within the first 10 minutes, but then sent us back to the waiting room and haven't seen us since, other than verifying they could bill our insurance for all the work they're not even doing."

"Horrible experience every time. They can't even hit the mark, let alone the standard, in patient care. The lack of communication and continuity of care is astounding. If you'll be there over the weekend be sure to bring everything you need because the gift shops, coffee shop and cafeteria will be closed. The family lounge are is full of equipment, which is exactly what the sign says not to put there, so if you need a place to for a few minutes to yourself you're better off just going outside."

"Was in a car accident came in at 2am to get checked out. it is now 6:05am there's only one doctor in the er for the entire hospital i have been skipped over was told to wait in the waiting room cause all there rooms are filled on the back. They have not treated my arm in 4 hrs nor do i know my test results even from my xrays and ct scans for my back and neck. Horrible care"

"I've come here like two times, and I didn't have a bad experience. I got in, explained my problem, and got the prescriptions to heal me. The worst part is the long times spent waiting in-between talking to staff. I wrote this review after reading the ones on the main hospital (and posted it there before realizing this separate area existed). I agree with the problem most people have about wait times, though not THAT long. My last visit was like 2.5 hours, with over an hour in the waiting room. The rest of my review is posted on the main hospital but basically I don't have much to compare this place to and I'm not picky, so if you and your insurance can afford this place, I see no reason to not go (unless you know a place with less waiting or more than 2 TVs on news channels)"

"My recent experience was terrible. I went in at 2:40pm & did not leave until 1:00 a.m the next day. They took all day just to tell me everything is fine. I didn’t get into an actual room until my last hour there. After every little step, they just sent me back to the waiting room. I had to get a cat scan & i was waiting for probably 2-3 hours & I told the man. Then like 10 minutes later, I got it. Like basically I was forgotten. I should not have to remind the DOCTOR about my cat scan. Then when I was leaving the room to go home, I was not about to wait another hour just to get paper work, so I walked outside & the man was literally just sitting there talking with my paperwork in front of his face instead of coming to my room giving it to me after Ive been there for over 8 hours!"
