"Putting this for the hospital, too: Horrible experience every time. They can't even hit the mark, let alone the standard, in patient care. The lack of communication and continuity of care is astounding. If you'll be there over the weekend, be sure to bring everything you need because the gift shops, coffee shop and cafeteria will be closed. The family lounge area is full of equipment, which is exactly what the sign says not to put there or maybe it says to put it there, I can't tell...so if you need a place to for a few minutes to yourself you're better off just going outside."

"On 2/1/24, my sister was brought in for a stroke. Her nurse's name was Marv. She was awesome. It has been years since I had witnessed such outstanding work performance. And her bedside manners were unexplainable. I have worked in the medical field for almost 40 years (I'm not a nurse) but I can honestly say that she is one in million. Keep it up Marv, you're just what we need when in a traumatic situation!!!!!!!!! Much love ❤️"

"My Aunt was in this hospital for about a week before she ultimately succumbed to cancer. The hospital staff were phenomenal! I cannot say enough good things about the nurses. One, Kelly in particular was THE BEST!! So kind and patient. Very knowledgeable. An overall gem! Abbi (night nurse) rocked too!! Reason for the 3 stars is the cleanliness. The bathrooms were definitely not up to hospital grade standards, IMO. The toilets had rings in them, the air vents were caked with layers of dirt. The hospital could use a serious overhaul."

"I had an outpatient surgical procedure at BJC a month ago, on 29 September, and everyone there was very nice and helpful. I was immediately taken to my preop room and my RN, Savannah, had the greatest bedside manners. The rest of the staff was also great. The nurse that was with me when I woke up right after surgery, prior to returning to my main room was also very nice but I was still on anesthetics so I can't recall his name. So glad this is where my Dr. completed my surgery at."

"Overall service was bad ! At one point my urinal was completely full because the nurse would not pour out the waste and my meals would sit at my bed for hours . I’ll never come back , I regret not going to Barnes in St Louis ! I had a blood clot and even the diagnosis was a problem because they didn’t have an ultrasound tech available until Monday and I went to the hospital on Saturday morning. When they sent me home Saturday they said resume your regular schedule , I said can I golf and they said yes . When I got to the hospital on Monday, I told them what what I was told and the doctor said if the clot would have broken off , it could have killed you! This is simply poor service at the nurse level"
