Husky Park
Husky Park, located at 1100 Lee Street in Wheeling, Illinois, is a vibrant and exciting park for children of all ages. The park features various slides, climbing apparatus, swings, and individual play pieces designed to accommodate both two- to five-year-olds and five- to 12-year-olds. The play areas are sheltered by sail-like shade structures, and the soft safety surface is constructed in circular shapes with contrasting colors. In addition to the playground equipment, Husky Park also boasts a newly renovated full-court basketball court, bike racks, new trash/recycling receptacles, and beautifully landscaped grounds. The park's new entrance on Norman Lane, completed in 2011, provides easy access for visitors and allows the playground to be seen from the surrounding neighborhood.
