Illinois Baptist Children's Home and Family Services, located at 949 County Road 1300 North in Carmi, Illinois, is a church and health institution dedicated to providing Christ-centered services to protect, heal, and restore individuals and families in need. Since 1918, BCHFS has been a beacon of hope and healing for those facing struggles such as teen issues, unsafe home environments, unexpected pregnancies, infertility, and the need for counseling. The five ministries that make up their mission include Angels’ Cove, Baptist Children’s Home Residential Services, Faith Adoption Ministry, GraceHaven Pregnancy Resource Clinic, and Pathways Counseling. The institution also hosts annual events such as a Christmas card contest for residents to showcase their creativity. Kevin Carrothers, a seasoned pastor and mission strategist, has been appointed as the Executive Director of BCHFS.
