"If I could give a zero i would. The complex is awful. The list is long. 1. Cannot run vacuum and A.C. at the same time without tripping the main breaker, which is in the basement. 2. PESTS!!!! They do not treat the property. 3. Kitchen sink smell like sewage due to faulty pitch and pipes. 4. Maintenance is a joke. Took 4 days to get A.C. unit replaced. Required 3 hostile men to replace 1 wall unit. 5. Garbage disposal removed, but live wires were left exposed prior to move in. 6. No ventilation. 7. Linda 8. Terrible drywall patch work. 9. No sound deadening between units. 10. "No Smoking" constantly smells of Marijuana. 11. Basement floods (storage units) 12. NO DIRECT CONTACT WITH PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. 13.PESTS. AGAIN. 14. Realty group ignored any inquiries about drug deals happening in the back lot behind the 545 building. 15. You do not have regulation of temperature in your home. There is thermostat, but it is for appearances only. Hard to keep temperature above 67° during winter. Had to boil water to keep it at 67°. In all seriousness, these apartments are made to look nice, but are cheap. You will run into issues with everything. Maintenance is a joke. They don't have consistent maintenance and the hourly workers they hire do not know what they are doing. Spend the extra money and live ANYWHERE but here. Especially if you have children. We regret ever living here."

"Make sure to look Aim Realty Reviews. FYI these are condos that people rent out, AIM is the property management group that handles the rentals: I live in Maple Grove Apt for 3 years. The entire time I always had trouble getting a response from AIM. Kym was rude. When we initially went to sign our lease the lease only mentioned 1 car, Kym previously told me two cars. She then turned off the lights in the apartment and said she didn't have time for this started screaming. Told us to go the office in Oak Brook and finish up there. Well I explain to her scheduling is not our problem, if she needed to be some where else she should have openly told us her time constraints, and we don't have to rent from Aim if they don't need our business, She calmed down. I called the office and they emailed me a form that said we could have 2 cars. My wife later sent her a nice text and Kym replied with an apology. Still the irritation of the interaction lingered for some time. Later when we moved out I wrote Aim a letter I was willing to move out on a Saturday if they prorated the unused days, strictly as a favor for them. Kym called me and agreed to the terms, she said she really appreciated it. Later when we moved out they reneged and would not refund the unused days. Pretty much scammers. During the entire 3 years we always paid our rent early, and when we moved out Kym said the place was so clean they would not need to do any work to move the next tenant in. Regarding the service from the office, I'm under the impression they run on minimal staff. Any call was a nuisance to them and they would rarely respond. A couple time I had to drive over in person. They sent letter do not come to the office they don't have to respond to tenants, nor to receive rent in person. Eventually they launched the portal and I was able to get responses from the staff more consistently. Regarding repairs, our heat never really worked right. The actual owner was a Chinese guy and he didn't want to invest any money in the place, it was a lower standard of living. The only way I was able to get maintenance to come out was during our lease renewal. I would have to write a letter including all the items that were not cared for during the course of the lease and ask them to address the complaints before I renewed. After 3 years I had enough hassle and moved. During that time 4 others in the building that rented from Aim moved. They also claimed they were tired of the poor service. Years lived 2016-2019. I'm a little surprised about the positive reviews. They just don't seem like AIM's fits the glove of helping tenants."

"It’s a good location but I wouldn’t recommend this place mostly because they’re running a halfway home (not joking) out of here and the tenants are ridiculously loud. Parking isn’t ideal either and we’ve been finding a lot of ants in our apartment also. The water also turns the toilet bowl and shower curtain pink."
