Happy Paws Animal Hospital Lake Zurich IL

"Noticed a bump on my dogs rear end, brought here to happy paws. Dr. Manmeet preformed an x ray and needle biopsy. He informed me of a large mass and recommended seeing a specialist. But in order for me to do that she will need to be up to date on all of her shots in order to have the consultation with a surgeon. (Not needed for consultation, surgery yes). And that he knew based off of experience that it could be cancerous. I expressed concern to Dr. Manmeet that I didn’t want to spend thousand of dollars if she dies in 6 months. So after a $1400 bill from Manmeet and a $1300 bill from the surgeon my dog only has a projected life of another 4 months. I truly feel Dr. Manmeet intentionally deceived me just to get the money for shots. As he stated several times that he was cheaper than the specialist for shots. Also he truly does not understand how to read a x ray as he also stated my dogs lungs were healthy. And the specialist stated that was not accurate and she has signs of lungs damage from the cancer. You should avoid this business as much as possible as he clearly has extremely high overhead. Over priced and seemingly under qualified."

"Happy Paws is amazing! We have been taking our dog, Bailey here for a while now & Dr. Gill and the entire staff are fantastic with her. Bailey is extremely nervous and they are so patient. Today, Bailey had surgery there and the experience was so positive from getting the results to booking the surgery, to understanding the aftercare/follow up. Dr Gill is an amazing doctor.
