"My son Nathan has went to Ms. Mercer 's daycare since she has opened. He absolutely loves it! She works with him on areas he struggles in and I have seen a great improvement! He loves to show me the projects they work on and tell me about all the things he is learning. Ms. Mercer is extremely patient with the kids and puts her heart into her work. She is very well prepared and completely committed to the kids learning and development. Nathan has been to a variety of private and public daycare centers but this is by far the best choice for both of us. Nathan is so animated while talking about his time at daycare, where at previous daycare centers he didn't show much enthusiasm. The location is close to both the I-90 tollway and route 20 which is great for commuting and gives a variety of options depending on traffic patterns. Ms. Mercer has been very reliable and openly communicates about things she notices during her time with Nathan. Enrolling Nathan in this daycare center was the best choice I made. It can be so stressful leaving your kids while you go to work, school or wherever it may be. Ms. Mercer does a great job easing the transition and Nathan is very comfortable being there. I am adding to my review after receiving news from my son's first parent teacher conference. He is in Kindergarten now and six years old. They start MAP testing in their Kindergarten students in the Huntley school district and my son scored in the 99 percentile across the board! He has already passed the Kindergarten curriculum required to move on to first grade, and is reading extremely well. The teacher asks him more challenging questions in class to keep his education moving along since he is at a higher level than the other students in his classroom. He also gets taken out once a week for an advanced reading program to keep him interested and ahead of the curve. Sam has given him an amazing base and understanding in the basics to prepare him for Kindergarten. This is first hand proof that all of her hard work and attention pays off! As a single mother in school I could not have done it without her and she made it possible for my son to shine! His teacher said at the conference whoever worked with him at his preschool/daycare facility did an incredible job and prepared him extremely well. Thank you Sam for all of your hard work!"
