Lake-In-The-Hills Youth, located at 5200 Miller Road in Lake in the Hills, Illinois, is a night club that also serves as the home of the Lake In The Hills Youth Athletic Association and Thunder Travel Program. One of the highlights of the year is the Brian Krueger Memorial Tournament, held annually to honor Brian Krueger's legacy and raise awareness of pediatric brain cancer. Villa Olivia, located at 1401 West Lake Street in Bartlett, Illinois, is home to a challenging Championship golf course designed by Richard P. Nugent, ASGCA. This 18-hole course features mature trees, rolling hills, and beautiful landscaping, providing a picturesque backdrop for a round of golf. With 6,510 yards from the longest tees, a par of 73, a course rating of 72.4, and a slope rating of 124, golfers of all skill levels can enjoy a day on the course. Arndt Park is a popular park located at 1990 White Street in Des Plaines, Illinois. Just five blocks south of Oakton Street, this park offers a variety of recreational activities for visitors of all ages. During the winter season, visitors can enjoy a sled/snowboard hill that will be available for use in Winter 2022/23. In addition to the park amenities, Arndt Park is also home to the Administrative & Leisure Center, Golf Center Des Plaines, Lake Park Golf Course & Marina, Mountain View Adventure Center, Prairie Lakes Aquatic Center, and Prairie Lakes Community Center. These facilities offer a range of activities and services for the community, including golfing, water sports, and fitness classes.
