Community Consolidated School District 46, located at 565 Frederick Road in Grayslake, Illinois, is dedicated to empowering learners, creating equity, and cultivating community. With over 4,000 students, teachers, administrators, and support staff members, our district serves seven communities in northeastern Illinois. Situated just 40 miles north of Chicago and 14 miles west of Lake Michigan, CCSD 46 encompasses a diverse population from the villages of Grayslake, Third Lake, Hainesville, Round Lake, Round Lake Park, Round Lake Beach, and Lake Villa. Our district consists of eight schools, including neighborhood schools for grades K-4, a K-8 neighborhood school, a 5-6 intermediate school, a 7-8 middle school, and an early childhood center located within one of our K-4 buildings. Grayslake Spray Park is a popular tourist attraction located at 250 Library Lane in Grayslake, Illinois, United States. This amusement park offers a 'splashtastic' time for children 10 years and under at the FREE Splash Pad near the Aquatic Center Athletic Fields in Central Park. Visitors can also rent the Splash Pad for birthday parties, making it a perfect spot for celebrations. The Splash Pad is open daily from 10am-7pm from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend, weather dependent. In addition to the Splash Pad, Central Park offers two community size playgrounds, picnic shelters, a disc golf course, restroom building, fishing piers, walking trails, ballfields, pickleball courts, and plenty of open space to explore. The Grayslake Park District is a separate government agency dedicated to providing leisure programs, parks, and recreation facilities for the community.
