"My visit led to Dr. Alter falsifying medical records and calling me personally to discuss my frustration over judgement and being stigmatized by him and his staff. He agreed to do my surgery; however, the day before the surgery after he had billed my insurance for blood work and a visit he decided to have his practice administrator, Claudine, call to inform me he cancelled the surgery because I did not want to continue to use him after the procedure. Claudine then proceeded to call me the day of my surgery to place a harassing phone call in which she said I could not express my frustration about my healthcare via MyChart. The notes in MyChart were honest and clear. This practice only became belligerent and petty after I retained a medical malpractice attorney who also saw to it that Claudine cease her telephonic harassment of me which is a misdemeanor in Illinois. She also likes to post on Twitter how she’s aggravated and ran out of wine so she’s drinking whiskey, “God bless my Irish soul lol” she writes. This is the kind people hired by the NW Warrenville Cancer Center. She also without a medical degree to her name aside from being a pharmacy tech and then working in oncology in an administrative capacity decides to tell me, “well we hope it’s not worse than we suspected.” Is she a pathologist? No. Is she an oncologist? No. What business does she have telling me that? None. She decided to do Dr. Alter’s dirty work and now she’s placed herself in the middle of it all. So, beware of Dr. Alter and Claudine who likes to refer to herself on Twitter as “clau_dizzle”. Northwestern Cancer Center truly has a “classy” crowd working there. Thank goodness I completely left this hospital system and got better care somewhere else."

"In addition to the wonderful doctors I encountered, each staff member made me feel welcome. The customer service was top-notch. After 3 back-to-back appointments, the staff brought water and snacks to help make the day more comfortable. My doctors (Dr. Khan, Dr. Gondi, and Dr. Buerki) talked options, gave me time to process, and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions. Great bedside manner, too."

"The staff here are amazing! My son did radiation here for 6 weeks. After every appointment they always made sure they had his Oreos ready! I would recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone! Thank you for taking such good care of my son!"
