Buona - Berwyn

"Driving by hungry and my teammate Saint Death is vegetarian and said Buona has vegan Italian beef, and I was like SAYLESS! The cashiers were so cool. Great customer service. They were playing great music. Good vibes. The vegan Italian beef was decent! It was wet, but I would say it was a little barebones. I might be weird, but some tomatoes, onions and garlic I felt would make it hit harder. 4/5"

"We enjoy bouna and get my daughter salad and pasta every other week. But this location served us THIS plate like this thinking it was okay. I work in food industry and I know this is not a fancy sit down place but they serve the food to you and walk around clearing plates. Clearly they are attempting to provide a more sit down service feel than McDonalds. We still enjoyed our food. More so the location is a little ghetto and could use some tiding up."

"I'm not sure why i decided to try buona after 7 years of not eating a burger here. I should have stayed away. Their burgers have no flavor, they are overpriced, and undercooked. The fries seem to have changed from the last time I had them. Customer service was the same as i remember. Mediocre at best. I'll definitely stay away from this place. Portillo's has been my go to and they never disappoint."

"Two words…. No Buona! I don’t even know where to begin. The theme of my two hot dogs was “extra greasy”. I shouldn’t have eaten them. If you look at the pics I posted, you would have agree they were not very appetizing looking. My wife’s Italian Beef was not hot. The cheese wasn’t even melted. BUT…. The fries were good. I am hoping they were just having a bad night…. and this was not normal. I really want to try Buona again and have a better experience."

I recently visited the Buona location in Berwyn and had the vegan Italian beef sandwich with hot peppers and a lemonade. The sandwich was delicious! The bread was soft and the meat was flavorful. The hot peppers added a nice kick to the sandwich. The lemonade was also refreshing. The staff at the Buona in Berwyn was very friendly and helpful. They were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. They played basketball and soccer on the big screen for entertainment. Overall, I had a great experience at Buona. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. I would definitely recommend Buona to anyone looking for a good Italian beef sandwich.
