"Their risotto is memorable, and so are the desserts. I had the apple pie and I loved it. The space is tight so you will be very close to the table next to you, but it's not bad at all and it creates a nice environment."
"I come for 2024 restaurant week. $42/person dinner. I recommend the Tuna Tartare and Polpettine di Vitello as first course. The Rissotto Pescatora and Griliata di Pesce as the main course. I like all the things above we ordered. But I hate the dessert tiramisu and Torta Della Nonna. The price $42 means the meal is definitely worth it. But in regular weeks, I can only give a 4/5 since nothing is super impressive that I want to come again."
"If you make a reservation, show up 5 minutes early and they'll seat you early if they can. This place was packed on Friday night, but the tables are spaced well enough so it doesn't affect your experience. On a cold night after Zoo Lights at the Lincoln Park Zoo, we decided to start with soup, followed by risotto, and ending with the chocolate lava cake. Everything was delicious! The bread basket they bring you at the start of the meal isn't overwhelming in size and it includes some small pieces of focaccia bread which we're too filling either. Compared to the rest of the neighborhood, it's well priced and well worth it."
"Found this place by accident (restaurant we wanted to go to had an hour wait) and was blown away. Service was impeccable, there when you need them but not bothering you otherwise. Food was amazing. My girlfriend said it's the best dinner she's had in Chicago (lived here for 5 years) and some of the best Italian food she's had outside of Italy. Go for the branzino in lemon sauce if it's on the specials. I had the short rib fiorentino which was also excellent. Absolutely a must try."
