"I tried La Cocina for lunch and really enjoyed it! The steak tacos were really well seasoned and I enjoyed the sides. The salsas were not very flavorful, unfortunately, but everything else was terrific. Good, very fast service. Reasonably priced, but my only gripe was four dollars for a can of Diet Coke."
"Stopped by on a whim for a work-related happy hour and was pleasantly surprised — fantastic drinks, food, and atmosphere. Not to mention the service was incredible. If you’re a fan of large portions, affordable prices, and fire margaritas, definitely stop by!"

"The ambiance and service is great! Unfortunately the food is subpar. I’ve been there several times throughout the years and one things for certain the food doesn’t get better. It’s not horrible simply not great. It’s mostly DRY and this last time the portions were horrible especially for the price. All I can say is they need to do Better and this is me being nice about it!"
"Great place for lunch or quick cocktail. I used to go to the original location on Jackson before they closed. Followed them to Wells and here. They also own Spanglish on State Street. Check them out. Family owned."
